Need to sell a damaged or non-running Ford Ranger for spares? Get a fair cash offer, free nationwide towing and paperwork handling from trusted experts.
If your Ford Ranger has suffered major accident damage, mechanical failure, or is simply beyond affordable repair, selling it for spares can deliver a quick cash return without the stress of trying to restore or privately part out the vehicle. Demand for Ford Ranger spares across South Africa means even non-running or written-off Rangers have value in the salvage market.
| Scenario | Repair Cost (Est.) | Typical Resale Value (After Repair) | Likely Value as Spares |
|---|---|---|---|
| Major accident (chassis damage) | R70,000+ | R90,000-R140,000 | Competitive offer, fast payment |
| Non-running engine, older model | R40,000-R90,000 | R80,000-R130,000 | Value based on usable parts |
| Flood/fire damage | Unpredictable, often uneconomical | R50,000+ | Useful for spares if body is intact |
For many Ford Ranger owners, especially fleet operators and contractors, selling a non-repairable vehicle for spares saves time, limits further loss, and removes storage headaches. Sell Your Damaged Car provides a clear, transparent process to value and collect your bakkie, no matter the condition.
Whether your vehicle is parked in Johannesburg, on a farm in Free State, or at a panelbeater in Durban, our team will arrange collection at no charge to you.
After your Ford Ranger is collected, the paperwork is finalised and your payment completed - usually within the same day. Salvageable components are recycled into the SA parts market, supporting local workshops and Ford owners looking for affordable repairs. Unusable remnants are disposed of in compliance with South African environmental standards.
| Damage Type | Parts Usually Recovered | Offer Impact (Estimate) |
|---|---|---|
| Front-end collision | Engine, gearbox, doors, rear suspension | Moderate; body damage, key powertrain intact |
| Engine failure (seized) | Body panels, electronics, interior parts | Lower; engine not viable but rest valuable |
| Burn damage (partial) | Chassis, differential, suspension | Depends on extent; minor fire can retain key spares value |
| Flood damage | Upholstery, body, some electronics if not submerged | Varies; water ingress may limit value |
For the smoothest transaction, make sure you include all relevant documents and communicate honestly about your Ranger's condition. Our fully digital process ensures minimal admin on your part, and our nationwide service reaches all major towns and rural areas.
