Selling a rear-ended car? Get a cash offer for your accident-damaged vehicle with free towing and paperwork assistance, nationwide. Turn rear-end damage into cash easily.
Rear-end collisions are among the most common accident types on South African roads. They often result in substantial bumper, boot, or frame damage, making private resale difficult. If your car has rear-end damage, Sell Your Damaged Car provides a straightforward way to turn it into cash-no repairs or towing hassles required.
Repairs for rear-end damage can quickly add up-especially for modern vehicles with sensors, cameras, or frame impact. For many owners, the cost outweighs the value retained. Private buyers are wary of accident-damaged cars, and insurers may write off the vehicle. Our service is designed for people who want to skip the complexity and get fast value instead.
| Type of Rear-End Damage | Typical Repair Cost (Est.) | % Value Retained |
|---|---|---|
| Bumper Cover | R4,500 - R10,000 | ~85% |
| Boot/Trunk Panel | R7,000 - R18,000 | ~80% |
| Rear Frame/Structure | R15,000 - R50,000+ | 65-75% |
| Airbag Deployment | R10,000 - R30,000+ | 60-70% |
| Multiple Areas Involved | Estimate Required | Variable |
Most repairs must be completed to SABS standards and can trigger a change in insurance policy terms or future resale value. Instead of paying for these repairs, many South Africans opt to sell their car with rear-end damage, saving time and additional costs.
We accept all types of rear-end damaged vehicles: accident written-off, dented, non-driving, or even with deployed airbags. From Johannesburg to Cape Town, Durban to Bloemfontein-we've got you covered nationwide.
Selling a rear-ended car requires adherence to South African Road Traffic legislation and proper paperwork transfer. You'll need to ensure that:
We guide you through every step, reducing the admin and risk of private resale. Our process is fully compliant with South African laws for both private sellers and small business fleets.
| Rear-End Damage Type | Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Bumper Scuffs/Dents | Low |
| Minor Boot Damage | Low to Medium |
| Frame/Chassis Impact | Medium to High |
| Airbag Deployed | High |
| Electrical System Damage | Variable |
These are typical examples-actual offers depend on full vehicle info, year, and overall condition.
When you hand over your rear-ended vehicle, our team will finalise payment (usually on the same day), process change of ownership, and handle towing at no cost to you. You'll receive proof of sale and, where required, the deregistration confirmation for your records.
Whether you're in the city or a rural area, our support doesn't end with the collection-we're here to answer your questions and provide any follow-up paperwork.
