Sell your burnt or fire-damaged car for scrap in Pretoria. Free towing, fast payment, full paperwork and deregistration handled for all conditions.
Dealing with the aftermath of a burnt or fire-damaged car in Pretoria can be overwhelming. Disposing of a non-running, charred, or salvageable vehicle is complex-especially with insurance write-offs, towing, and legal requirements. Sell Your Damaged Car offers Pretoria's hassle-free solution: quick online offers, free local collection, skilled paperwork, and immediate cash payout for burnt vehicles of any make or model.
Serious fire or burn damage often affects critical systems-wiring, interiors, paintwork, and engine-making repairs unsafe or uneconomical. Scrapping is the preferred route when repair costs outweigh vehicle value, especially for accident or fire write-offs. Pretoria owners avoid high storage, towing, or repair bills by choosing to sell for scrap value, getting peace of mind and immediate funds.
| Burn Damage Level | Estimated Repair Cost (R) | Average Value After Repair (R) |
|---|---|---|
| Minor (smoke damage) | 25,000 - 40,000 | 15% lost |
| Moderate (interior/engine) | 40,000 - 80,000 | 25%+ lost |
| Severe (structural) | Often exceeds car value | 50%+ lost or write-off |
*Figures are South African market estimates; actual costs and values vary by make, model, and age.
Selling a burnt or fire-damaged car for scrap in South Africa requires certain legal steps:
| Damage Type | Typical Offer Impact |
|---|---|
| Exterior panel burn | Mild-moderate reduction |
| Interior & wiring burnt | Moderate-severe reduction |
| Engine/firewall damage | Severe reduction/write-off |
Note: Each case is individually assessed. Photos and accurate detail lead to the most competitive cash offer on your burnt car in Pretoria.
Once your burnt car is collected in Pretoria, payment is processed and verification occurs immediately. We handle all licensing authority notifications, and your car will be responsibly scrapped or salvaged according to local and national regulations. Most importantly, you are legally protected from further liability as the former owner.
