Get same-day cash for your broken car anywhere in South Africa. We buy accident-damaged, non-runners & written-off vehicles. Free towing, instant payment, paperwork handled.
When your car is no longer roadworthy-whether due to accident, mechanical failure, or simply refusing to start-the challenge for South African owners can be daunting. Private sales are time-consuming, classified ads attract tyre-kickers, and scrap yards may offer little value. Same-day cash for broken car SA services are designed to remove stress, speed up the sale, and guarantee transparent payments, often within hours. Sell Your Damaged Car specialises in providing South Africans with a trustworthy, seamless experience to dispose of vehicles in any condition for instant cash.
Sell Your Damaged Car keeps the process simple and accessible for Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth-and everywhere in-between. Here's a breakdown of each step, ensuring genuine peace of mind for South Africans looking to access same-day cash for broken cars:
| Process Step | What You Do | What We Handle |
|---|---|---|
| Online Submission | Upload car info & photos | Quick review & instant offer |
| Accept Offer | Confirm if you're happy | Send paperwork checklist |
| Vehicle Collection | Choose a suitable time | Free nationwide towing |
| Verification & Payment | Sign transfer forms | Immediate EFT upon collection |
This transparent process eliminates traditional barriers South Africans face when selling broken vehicles and avoids hidden costs typical of direct private buyers, classified ads or auction services.
Quotes for broken cars in South Africa depend on factors such as make, model, year, severity and type of damage, and local salvage demand. It's important to note that a same-day offer is designed for convenience and speed, balancing fair value with immediate payment and service assurance.
| Damage Type | Impact on Offer (Estimate) | SA-Specific Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Accident / Collision | Medium to High | Panel and frame damage assessed via photos |
| Mechanical Breakdown | Medium | Engines, gearboxes, or electronics can lower offer |
| Non-Runner | Medium | Charged regardless of reason for not running |
| Flood or Fire Damage | High | Severe damage limits resale or parts value |
Mandla from Johannesburg had a 2011 sedan with catastrophic engine failure. After several low private offers and high towing quotes, he submitted his details online and accepted a same-day cash offer. The car was collected in Braamfontein that afternoon, paperwork handled, and payment confirmed to his South African bank account before 5pm. This approach saved him days of admin and risk versus informal channels.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
