Need an instant quote for an old or damaged car in South Africa? Upload photos, get a fast online valuation, and enjoy free nationwide towing and handled paperwork.
Fast Online Valuation
Get an indicative instant quote by uploading photos and vehicle details.
Nationwide Collection
Free towing and collection across South Africa, including major metros.
Paperwork & Payment
We handle transfer, deregistration help and release fast payment after collection.
If you own an old, non-running or accident-damaged vehicle and need a quick valuation, an instant online quote gives clarity without the hassle of private sale negotiations, towing arrangements or complex paperwork. Sell Your Damaged Car offers same-day online valuations with nationwide collection and handled admin.
An instant quote saves time and helps you decide whether to keep, repair or sell. For older cars - especially those with mechanical issues, accident damage, or that are written off - repair costs often outstrip residual value. An online valuation gives a transparent, competitive cash offer quickly so you can move on. Our process includes free towing and paperwork support across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas.
We keep the online process simple and fast. Typical steps are:
Get your free quote or visit our Sell Damaged Cars page for details on acceptable conditions and what to expect.
Instant quotes consider vehicle age, model demand in the South African salvage market, visible damage, mechanical status, and whether the car is under finance. Quotes are indicative and final offers may adjust after physical inspection at collection.
| Factor | How it affects an instant quote |
|---|---|
| Age & model popularity | Common models retain better salvage demand; specialist or rare models may vary. |
| Visible accident or flood damage | Significant body or flood damage typically reduces offers due to repair complexity. |
| Running vs non-running | Non-running vehicles often have lower offers because of towing and mechanical costs. |
For more on our process and what to expect at collection see our About / How it works page.
Once you accept the online quote we handle the rest: schedule free nationwide towing, complete the transfer paperwork (including deregistration assistance where applicable), and confirm payment. You can Upload vehicle details in minutes and choose a collection slot that suits you.
If the vehicle is under finance, we work with you and the finance provider to settle outstanding balances as part of the sale - transparency at the quote stage reduces delays. We provide clear documentation for transfer of ownership and can assist with deregistration where required by local traffic authorities in South Africa. Final payment is released after collection and condition verification.
From submission to collection can be same-day in metro areas (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban) or 24-72 hours in more remote locations. Payment is released promptly after vehicle collection and verification. Times are estimates and depend on location and paperwork status.
Trust and transparency: Our instant quote is an indicative, obligation-free offer that becomes final after we confirm vehicle details at collection. We provide transparent paperwork and explain any adjustments in plain language.
Ready to proceed? Get your free quote, then Confirm collection when you’re ready and we’ll Get paid fast.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
