Sell your out-of-service or non-running vehicle in Durban. Get a free cash offer, free local collection, assistance with deregistration and fast payment nationwide.
If your vehicle is out of service in Durban - whether it's accident-damaged, non-running, flood-affected or written off - you can turn it into cash quickly. Sell Your Damaged Car buys vehicles in any condition, arranges free towing within Durban and surrounds, handles the paperwork (including deregistration where applicable), and issues fast payment.
Private sales and trade-ins often stall when a vehicle doesn't run or is heavily damaged. Specialist buyers like Sell Your Damaged Car operate in the salvage and repair market and can provide a quicker, lower-effort route to convert a non-running vehicle into funds. Our service covers Durban, eThekwini metro suburbs and regional pockets outside the city.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Minor body damage | Lower reduction; parts and salvage value remain reasonable |
| Major structural/airbag deployment | Significant reduction; often classified as write-off |
| Flood or fire damage | Large impact due to electrical/mechanical loss |
| Non-running (mechanical) | Depends on repair cost vs salvageable parts |
Note: These are illustrative impacts. Each valuation considers make, model, year, mileage and the local Durban salvage demand.
We arrange vehicle collection across Durban suburbs including Durban North, Berea, Pinetown, Umlazi and surrounding areas. Free towing is included for accepted offers; collection typically schedules within 48-72 hours depending on location. We also assist with paperwork such as transfer of ownership and deregistration steps relevant in South Africa.
Our online valuation is designed to be quick and transparent. Upload vehicle details and clear photos from Durban, and we return an obligation-free cash offer based on condition and current salvage market demand in KwaZulu-Natal.
From form submission to payment, many Durban transactions complete within 3-7 days. Payment is released and verified after collection and required documents are processed. Examples using South African context: administrative fees for deregistration are handled by us where applicable; any settlements with finance houses are processed per the financier's terms and reflected in final disbursement amounts.
Once we collect the vehicle in Durban, we process the transfer and deregistration as needed and release payment. If your vehicle is subject to a finance bond, final payment timing may depend on the financier's settlement confirmation. We provide clear documentation of the transaction for your records.
