Find trusted buyers for scrap cars in Durban. Free towing, paperwork handled and fast payment. Upload vehicle details for a quick, transparent cash offer.
Durban Local Expertise
Buyers who understand Durban towing and salvage logistics.
Free Towing & Paperwork
We arrange collection and help with deregistration and admin.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Upload details, get a competitive cash offer and quick payment.
If you have a scrap, written-off or non-running vehicle in Durban, selling to a trusted buyer can save time and costs. We specialise in buying vehicles in any condition across Durban and surrounding areas, offering free towing, paperwork assistance (including deregistration) and fast payment once you accept a transparent cash offer.
Local buyers familiar with Durban recovery logistics and the KwaZulu-Natal salvage market reduce delays and fees. Selling to reputable buyers means clear valuation, reliable collection times and minimal admin - especially helpful for private owners and small fleet managers.
| Damage Type | Typical Offer Impact |
|---|---|
| Structural/collision damage | Higher impact on offers; depends on severity and repair cost |
| Mechanical failure/non-running | Moderate impact; strong salvage demand for parts |
| Flood or fire damage | Significant impact; often traded for parts or scrap value |
| End-of-life / scrap | Valued for metal and reusable components; offers vary by weight and parts |
Offers depend on vehicle make, model, year, condition and current salvage demand in KwaZulu-Natal. For an accurate local quote, Get your free quote and upload photos - the process is fast and transparent.
Durban-specific note: Coastal and flood-affected vehicles often require specialist handling; working with local buyers avoids long-distance towing costs and delays.
Learn more about how the process works on our About / How it works page or check options for non-running vehicles on our Sell Non-Running Car page.
The typical steps are designed for speed and low hassle: submit vehicle details and photos, receive a competitive cash offer, accept and schedule free towing, then we handle paperwork (including deregistration where applicable) and release fast payment. For a smooth start, have clear photos of damage and documentation ready.
| Scenario | Common Result |
|---|---|
| Repair estimate exceeds vehicle market value | Selling for salvage or parts is often the more practical, lower-cost option |
| Moderate damage with high parts demand | Competitive cash offers possible from buyers targeting parts resale |
If you want an immediate next step, Upload vehicle details for a quick response. You can also compare options on the Sell Damaged Cars page to see common scenarios and inclusion details.
Work only with buyers who provide clear valuation criteria, transparent payment timelines and documented collection arrangements. Verify buyer details and ask for a written offer. Our process includes documented paperwork handling and secure payment verification to protect sellers.
