Sell Your Damaged Car buys salvage and written-off vehicles across Gauteng. Get a competitive cash offer, free towing in Johannesburg and Pretoria, and fast payment.
Gauteng Salvage Buyers
We purchase written-off and salvage vehicles across Gauteng, fast.
Free Towing & Paperwork
We arrange collection, handle transfer admin, and support deregistration.
Quick, Competitive Offers
Upload details, get a transparent cash offer and receive fast payment.
If your vehicle is written off, flood- or fire-damaged, non-running or otherwise salvage, Sell Your Damaged Car buys salvage vehicles across Gauteng - from Johannesburg and Sandton to Pretoria and Soweto. We provide a fast online valuation, a competitive cash offer, free towing and full paperwork support so you don’t need to coordinate repairs, transport or admin.
Salvage vehicles attract buyers with salvage expertise and access to recycling or repair markets. Selling to a specialist reduces time on the market, eliminates towing costs and removes the paperwork burden. We buy vehicles in any condition and offer quick payment after collection. Read more about how we operate on our About / How it works page.
Our process is designed for speed and clarity. Start by clicking "Get your free quote" and uploading vehicle details and photos. We return a competitive cash offer based on condition, market demand and salvage value. Accept the offer and schedule collection; we arrange free towing and handle the required paperwork.
If you have a non-running fleet vehicle, our Sell Non-Running Car page explains bulk and fleet options for businesses in Gauteng.
Offers depend on vehicle age, make/model, odometer, extent and type of damage, and current salvage demand in South Africa. Location matters for logistics - being in central Gauteng often reduces collection complexity compared with more remote areas.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Frame/structural damage | Significant reduction due to repair complexity |
| Engine or transmission failure | Moderate to high reduction depending on parts value |
| Flood or water damage | High reduction; electrical and corrosion risks |
| Cosmetic/external damage | Lower impact if mechanicals intact |
We handle collection logistics and paperwork, including transfer documents and deregistration guidance where applicable. If a vehicle is still under finance, inform us upfront - we will advise on settling finance and coordinating payment to the credit provider when necessary. For a full outline of the process see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
Getting started is quick: upload photos and details, receive a clear offer, then choose a convenient collection slot. We serve all major Gauteng suburbs and towns with free towing and fast payment. Use the homepage link to Get your free quote, or Upload vehicle details now.
Trusted locally: whether you are in Johannesburg, Pretoria or connecting suburbs, our Gauteng team coordinates towing and admin to make selling salvage simple and transparent - with a focus on safety, clear documentation and fair, competitive cash offers.
Need a tow? We got you

Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
