Find trustworthy damaged car buyers in South Africa. Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment after collection.
Transparent Valuations
Clear offers based on condition and salvage demand.
Free Nationwide Towing
Collection from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle transfer/deregistration and pay quickly after collection.
Selling a damaged, non-running or written-off vehicle nearby Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban demands a buyer who is transparent, experienced and compliant with South African regulations. Trustworthy damaged car buyers provide clear valuations, nationwide free towing, help with deregistration and fast payment after collection. Our online process lets you upload vehicle details and photos, receive a competitive cash offer and arrange collection without negotiating with strangers or paying towing fees.
We buy accident-damaged, flood-affected, fire-damaged, mechanically-failed and written-off cars across South Africa. If you want assurance about process and paperwork, read more about our approach on the About / How it works page.
If you need a straightforward way to sell a car that won’t start, see our dedicated guidance on Sell Non-Running Car for step-by-step expectations when your vehicle cannot be driven to a collection point.
Our streamlined process is designed for South African owners who want a reliable sale without the usual hassle. Follow these steps: upload vehicle details and clear photos, receive an obligation-free competitive cash offer, accept and schedule free collection, then hand over the car and receive fast payment. For common damage types and examples, our Sell Damaged Cars page explains what to include in photos and descriptions.
Valuations consider make, model, year, mileage, extent of visible damage and market demand for salvage parts. Damage from collisions, flood and fire typically reduces an offer more than cosmetic damage. Offers are personalised - we do not promise identical outcomes for all vehicles. South African sellers should have photos (multiple angles), the vehicle registration papers and, if applicable, details of any outstanding finance.
| Feature | What it means for your offer |
|---|---|
| Non-running (engine/electrical) | Lower offer than running vehicle; free towing mitigates logistics cost. |
| Accident damage (structural) | Greater impact on offer due to repair complexity and salvage classification. |
| Cosmetic damage | Smaller reduction; parts may retain resale value. |
We arrange free towing and collection from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions - no separate towing fees. After you accept an offer, we confirm a collection time and bring the necessary transfer documentation. If your vehicle is registered under finance, we work with you and the lender to manage settlement where possible; always disclose finance status to avoid delays.
To start, Get your free quote by uploading vehicle details and photos. You can also Upload vehicle details now to receive an obligation-free competitive cash offer and confirm collection. Expect clear paperwork support and near-instant payment once the vehicle is collected and documents are verified.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
