Sell fire-damaged cars in Gauteng quickly. Get a transparent cash offer, free towing, paperwork handled and fast payment from Sell Your Damanged Car.
Fire-Damaged Cars Accepted
We buy fire-damaged, written-off and non-running vehicles across Gauteng.
Free Towing & Paperwork
Nationwide collection and admin support, including deregistration guidance.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Upload photos for an obligation-free cash offer and quick payment after collection.
If your car has been fire-damaged in Johannesburg, Pretoria or elsewhere in Gauteng, Sell Your Damanged Car offers a fast, transparent route to convert that vehicle into cash. We buy fire-damaged, written-off and non-running vehicles, collect them with free towing and handle the paperwork so you don’t have to.
Selling a fire-damaged vehicle is different from a typical private sale: insurers, salvage buyers and specialist recyclers value fire-damaged cars based on extent of thermal and electrical damage, parts salvageability and documentation. We provide a straightforward online valuation, clear offers and free collection across Gauteng and nationwide. To begin, get your free quote by uploading photos and basic vehicle details.
We purchase fire-damaged cars regardless of running condition: total-loss/write-off, partial fire damage affecting interiors/electrics, or localized fire damage under the bonnet. For more about accepted conditions, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
Tip: provide clear photos of under-bonnet areas, wiring looms and interior panels - these speed up valuation accuracy for fire-damaged cars in Gauteng.
| Type of Fire Damage | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Superficial interior scorch (limited to upholstery) | Lower impact, parts salvageable; clearer documentation helps valuation. |
| Engine bay / electrical loom fire | Significant impact due to electrical repairs required; offers reflect salvageable components. |
| Severe structural/complete loss | Usually classified as write-off; offers based on salvage value and parts demand. |
To start the online valuation, use our quick form and upload vehicle details. The form works for private owners and small business fleets in Gauteng.
Legal, insurance and administrative steps matter when selling a fire-damaged car. We support sellers by handling transfer documents and advising on deregistration where needed. If the vehicle is under finance, inform your lender early - settlements or lender instructions can affect handover. For a full overview of our process and who we are, see our About / How it works page.
After collection from your Gauteng address we verify condition, complete the required paperwork and release payment. Payment timelines are fast and securely processed once collection and verification are complete. If your car is non-running after fire damage, see guidance on selling a non-running vehicle on our Sell Non-Running Car page.
| Seller situation | Recommended next step |
|---|---|
| Private owner with minor fire damage | Upload photos for a quick offer and arrange free towing if accepted. |
| Fleet manager with multiple units | Contact us with a list of vehicles and photos to streamline valuation and collection. |
Start by getting an obligation-free offer. Click to get your free quote, upload vehicle details and choose a convenient collection slot. Our team will confirm paperwork and collection logistics for any Gauteng location.
Notes: All offers depend on vehicle condition, documentation and salvage market demand. Figures and timelines are estimates for South Africa and may vary by location and condition.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
