Fast, Competitive Offer
Get a competitive cash offer after a quick online valuation.
If you are selling an accident-damaged vehicle in Pretoria, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a straightforward, local solution. We buy vehicles in any condition across Tshwane and surrounding suburbs - from Pretoria CBD and Centurion to Hatfield and Soshanguve. Our service focuses on fast online valuations, competitive cash offers, free towing across South Africa, and handling the admin so you don’t have to.
Accident-damaged vehicles attract different buyers: dealers, salvage yards and specialist car buyers. Using a specialist like Sell Your Damaged Car reduces time, logistical headaches and uncertainty. We arrange free collection, manage paperwork (including assistance with deregistration) and release fast payment once the vehicle is collected and verified.
We buy accident-written-off, flood- or fire-damaged, mechanically failed and non-running vehicles. Whether the car is immobile at a Pretoria home, impound yard or repair facility, we can quote and collect. Learn more about the types of vehicles we buy on our Sell Damaged Cars page and how the process works on our About / How it works page.
| Scenario | Typical repair cost (R, est.) | Value retained after repair (est.) |
|---|---|---|
| Minor front-end damage | R6,000 - R20,000 | 60%-80% of pre-accident value |
| Moderate structural damage | R20,000 - R60,000+ | 40%-60% of pre-accident value |
| Severe write-off / engine damage | Often exceeds vehicle value | Significantly below pre-accident value |
Note: these figures are illustrative estimates for South Africa and will vary by make, model, mileage and market demand.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offers |
|---|---|
| Cosmetic (bumper, panels) | Low to medium impact |
| Structural / chassis | High impact |
| Engine / transmission | High impact |
| Flood or fire damage | High impact; specialist salvage demand |
These categories help explain why two vehicles with similar visible damage can receive different offers: history, parts demand and repair complexity all matter.
The process is designed for Pretoria owners who need a fast, low-hassle sale. Start by uploading photos and vehicle details - the form takes under two minutes. We return a clear, obligation-free cash offer based on condition, market demand and salvage value in South Africa. If you accept, we schedule free towing, complete paperwork details and issue fast payment after collection and verification.
If your vehicle is under finance in South Africa, the settlement with the financier must be addressed before final transfer. We can work with you and your financier to assist with the required documents. We also provide guidance on deregistration and submit the necessary paperwork in many cases; see our About / How it works page for details on admin support.
Scenario: a write-off at a Pretoria repair shop. Rather than paying towing and repair estimates, many owners choose a specialist buyer to avoid delays and extra costs. Another common case is fleet vehicles in Centurion where downtime affects business - our collection service minimises disruption and handles paperwork for fleet managers.
