Sell your storm-damaged hatchback online. Upload photos, get a transparent cash offer, and enjoy free nationwide towing, paperwork handling and fast payment.
Any-Condition Acceptance
We buy storm-affected hatchbacks whether running or non-running.
Free Nationwide Towing
Collection anywhere in South Africa at no cost to you.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and transfer; payment after collection.
If your hatchback was damaged in a storm-hail dents, broken glass, flood ingress or structural damage-you can sell it online without the hassle of repairs, listings or organising buyers. Sell Your Damaged Car buys hatchbacks in any condition, offers free nationwide towing, handles paperwork (including deregistration where applicable) and provides fast payment after collection. This service is available across major metros like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and surrounding areas.
We buy hatchbacks with storm-related damage including hail dents, smashed windows, water intrusion, electrical faults after flooding, or cosmetic/structural damage caused by falling objects. Whether the car runs or is non-running, we provide an offer and can collect it for you. Learn more about how our service works on our About / How it works page.
You upload vehicle details and clear photos of the storm damage using our online form. We assess condition, age, model demand and salvage market value to prepare a transparent cash offer. For non-running or flood-affected hatchbacks we consider likely costs to prepare for salvage or parts resale when valuing the vehicle. If you want specifics on selling non-running vehicles, see our Sell Non-Running Car page for guidance.
Note: Storm damage varies-hail dents are often cosmetic, while flood damage can cause long-term electrical and engine issues. Provide clear photos of interior, engine bay and underside where possible to help us give an accurate offer.
1) Upload vehicle details and photos via our online form. 2) Receive a transparent, obligation-free offer. 3) Accept the offer and schedule collection. 4) We handle paperwork and pay you after collection. For details on selling damaged cars generally, visit our Sell Damaged Cars page.
- Hail damage: Mostly cosmetic; offers reflect repair cost vs resale potential. - Flood/water ingress: Electrical and mechanical inspection often required; affected vehicles may be listed as salvage. - Broken glass and body dents: Readily assessed from photos; quick offers possible. Each case is evaluated on its merits-offers vary by make, model, age and damage severity.
Use any of the quick actions below to start the process and get your offer.
Once the vehicle is collected we complete the required transfer or deregistration paperwork on your behalf where possible, confirm payment to your nominated bank account, and issue documentation confirming the sale. If your hatchback is under finance, telling your finance provider is essential-we work with sellers and lenders to ensure a lawful transfer. For more on how our process works and what to expect during collection, see our About / How it works page.
Severe storms are seasonal in many parts of South Africa and can cause concentrated demand for parts and salvage. Offering free nationwide towing helps sellers in metros like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban avoid additional transport costs. When using our online valuation, provide accurate location details so collection logistics are quoted correctly.
