Sell your storm-damaged car in South Africa. Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, and paperwork support - fast, transparent process.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect storm-damaged cars across South Africa at no cost to you.
Paperwork & Deregistration Help
We manage transfer documentation and assist with deregistration steps.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Get a competitive cash offer based on condition and salvage demand.
If hail, fallen trees, flooding or wind damage has left your car unsafe or non-running, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a fast route to cash with free towing and full paperwork support. Our process is built for South African owners in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas who want a low-hassle sale.
Storm damage can be costly, time-consuming and unpredictable to repair. When repair estimates approach or exceed the vehicle’s market value, many owners choose to sell for a competitive cash offer and avoid ongoing risk. We buy vehicles in any condition - written-off, flooded, dented, or with broken glass - and collect them nationwide with no towing fee.
| Damage type | How it affects offers |
|---|---|
| Hail dents & body damage | Cosmetic repairs reduce retail value; salvage demand varies by part condition. |
| Flood or water ingress | Severe impact on electronics/engine - offers reflect higher repair risk. |
| Structural or frame damage | Significant impact - often classified as written-off for safety reasons. |
Offers depend on make, model, year, mileage and the exact condition. We provide transparent valuations so you can decide whether selling is the better financial move compared with repairs.
We buy storm-damaged cars including non-running, flood-affected, smashed or written-off vehicles. For more on the categories we purchase, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
If your vehicle no longer starts after storm damage, our Sell Non-Running Car guide explains how valuation differs for non-starters and what information speeds up your quote.

Nationwide collection covers metros and many rural areas. If the vehicle is under finance, notify your lender - we work with owners and finance houses to complete settlements; see our process overview for details: How it works. Paperwork handling includes providing the buyer’s documentation and assisting with deregistration where required by local authorities.
Once we collect the vehicle using our free towing service, we verify the condition against the submitted details and complete transfer paperwork. Payment is released promptly after collection and verification. For a quick start, upload details on the homepage: Upload vehicle details and confirm collection when you accept the offer.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
