Sell your storm-damaged bakkie in South Africa quickly. Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment.
Any Condition Accepted
We buy storm-damaged bakkies, non-running or written-off.
Free Nationwide Collection
Towing from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle transfer, deregistration and arrange prompt payment.
If your bakkie has hail, wind, flood or falling-debris damage from a storm, you don’t have to manage repairs, insurance uncertainty or storage headaches alone. Sell Your Damaged Car buys storm-damaged bakkies in any condition across South Africa, offering a streamlined online valuation, free towing and minimal paperwork required. Our service covers Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas - we arrange collection from metros and rural locations alike.
Submit a few vehicle details and photos to receive a transparent, no-obligation cash offer. When you accept, we complete the admin (including deregistration where applicable), collect the vehicle at no cost and arrange payment quickly. For a fast start, Get your free quote.
We purchase bakkies that are non-running, cosmetically or structurally damaged by storms, flood-affected, written-off by insurers, or with mechanical issues caused or exposed by weather events. Selling to a specialist avoids the delays, towing costs and uncertain timelines of private sales and repair shops.
Valuations combine make, model, year, odometer, visible storm damage, mechanical condition and current salvage demand in South Africa. Clear photos of external panels, underbody, engine bay and the odometer speed up the process. If your bakkie is not roadworthy, note this when you upload details - we buy non-running vehicles as well. For specifics on non-running vehicles see the Sell Non-Running Car page.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Cosmetic hail / panel dents | Moderate reduction; often repairable but affects resale value |
| Flood / water ingress | Significant impact due to electrical and corrosion risks |
| Structural / frame damage | Major reduction; typically sold for salvage or parts |
Note: final offers depend on a full inspection where required. All valuations reference South African salvage market conditions and the vehicle's documented state.
If your bakkie is under finance, inform your lender - we can coordinate settlement instructions to complete the transfer smoothly.
Learn more about selling damaged vehicles and our processes on the Sell Damaged Cars page.
We streamline the sale so you can move on quickly. The process is designed for clarity and speed with transparent steps and documentation handled by our team.
If your bakkie can’t be driven, we still buy it. For detailed guidance on vehicles that won’t start, see Sell Non-Running Car. To understand our background and process, visit About / How it works.
Our team follows standard transfer and deregistration procedures under South African regulations. We encourage sellers to check finance status and disclose all known damage. When settling vehicles under finance, we coordinate with lenders to settle outstanding balances securely.
