Sell your scrap SUV in South Africa with a competitive cash offer. Free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment - get your free quote now.
Competitive Cash Offers
Get a transparent, competitive cash offer based on parts and salvage value.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect scrap SUVs across SA, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We help with transfer and deregistration and release fast payment after collection.
If your SUV is written off, mechanically dead, flood- or fire-damaged, or simply beyond economical repair, selling it for scrap to a specialist buyer saves time and avoids towing costs. We provide a streamlined online valuation, free nationwide collection and fast payment, so owners across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions can move on quickly.
We buy SUVs in any condition: non-running, accident-damaged, salvage, flood-affected or fire-damaged. Specialist buyers who operate nationally understand salvage demand, dismantling value and transport logistics - that means clearer offers and less hassle than listing privately or negotiating with local scrapyards.
Offers reflect a combination of the SUV's make, model, year, remaining reusable parts, extent of damage and current salvage market demand. Market conditions in South Africa (demand for parts, export interest, and scrap metal prices) also influence offers.
| Factor | How it affects offers |
|---|---|
| Make & model | Popular SUVs and newer models usually yield higher parts value. |
| Damage type | Structural or frame damage reduces resale potential more than cosmetic or engine-only faults. |
| Running condition | Non-running vehicles lower offers due to towing and repair overheads. |
| Location | Nationwide collection helps; remote pickups may affect timing but not cost to you. |
If you want to compare selling options, see our guide on selling damaged vehicles for more detail at Sell Damaged Cars and check specifics for non-running vehicles at Sell Non-Running Car.
Submit basic vehicle details, photos of the exterior, engine bay and interior, and a short description of the damage. Our appraisal factors spare parts value, salvage metal value and transport logistics to produce a transparent, competitive cash offer. The online estimate is obligation-free and designed to be clear about inclusions and exclusions.
Specialist buyers understand local salvage markets, parts demand and compliance needs in South Africa. That expertise helps produce a competitive cash offer and reduces the back-and-forth common with private buyers or inexperienced scrapyards. For more about how our service works, read our company overview: About / How it works.
Ready to proceed? Upload your SUV details to Upload vehicle details, accept the offer and Confirm collection. After we pick up the vehicle and verify details, you will Get paid fast.
Offers are based on condition and market factors. We provide clear breakdowns and answer questions about transfer, deregistration and any impact of outstanding finance. Our nationwide process reduces delays and avoids unexpected towing fees.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
