Need an urgent payout for a scrap or written-off car? Get a transparent, competitive cash offer, free towing and fast payment nationwide from Sell Your Damaged Car.
Urgent Payouts
Fast cash offers and priority collection available across South Africa.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect scrap cars from metros and surrounding areas at no cost.
Paperwork & Payment
We handle deregistration and release payment promptly after collection.
If you need an urgent payout for a scrap, damaged or written-off vehicle, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a streamlined process that converts scrap cars into competitive cash offers with free nationwide collection and quick payment.
We specialise in buying scrap and end-of-life vehicles across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The process is designed for speed: submit basic details and photos, receive an obligation-free offer, accept to confirm collection, and receive payment once the vehicle is collected and paperwork is complete.
Scrap cars typically include vehicles with extensive structural damage, non-running engines, severe flood or fire damage, or those declared a write-off by insurers. Each car is assessed individually, and offers reflect current salvage values in the South African market.
Quick note: If your vehicle is still under finance, we can guide you through settling the finance as part of the sale - this is common and can be handled during paperwork.
Learn more about our step-by-step approach on the About / How it works page and see details for non-running vehicles on the Sell Non-Running Car page. These resources clarify timelines and documentation needed for urgent payouts.
1) Upload vehicle details and clear photos so our valuation team can issue a fast, obligation-free quote. 2) Accept the offer to schedule collection - we arrange free towing anywhere in South Africa. 3) We complete paperwork, support deregistration where applicable, collect the vehicle and release payment promptly.
Good photos, a clear description of damage and honest notes about missing parts save time. Remove personal items and have any keys or documents ready for collection. While we cannot promise a specific amount, these steps help speed the valuation and payout process.
Once we collect your scrap car, we finalise paperwork including transfer of ownership or deregistration steps, and the agreed payment is released and verified. Our process is designed to reduce the typical private-sale delays like arranging tow trucks or chasing paperwork.
Ready to act? Get your free quote by uploading vehicle details, or Upload vehicle details now to start a fast payout. If you need to schedule urgent collection, use the same link to Confirm collection and prioritise a next-day pickup (where available).
We provide transparent offers based on vehicle condition, market salvage demand and local logistics. Clients across Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal regularly rely on our service for quick, low-risk payouts and clear paperwork handling. For more on selling damaged vehicles, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
If you need an urgent payout to clear space, settle finance or recycle a scrap vehicle, start by choosing Get paid fast - our team will prioritise evaluation and collection where possible.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
