Sell your scrap, accident-damaged or non-running car in Pretoria for same-day cash. Fast offers, free collection, paperwork handled. Quick, safe & nationwide trusted service.
If your vehicle in Pretoria is accident-damaged, written off, non-running or simply too costly to repair, selling it for scrap can be the most efficient way to unlock its cash value. Many Pretoria vehicle owners are surprised at how simple and swift the process can be when working with a professional service like Sell Your Damaged Car. Our team specialises in purchasing scrap cars in any condition and offers a seamless, transparent experience-and best of all, we include free Pretoria towing and same-day payment upon vehicle collection.
Holding onto a damaged vehicle can mean mounting storage costs, lost driveway space, and declining value. In Pretoria and surrounding areas, the cost to repair accident-damaged or mechanically failed cars frequently exceeds the amount you would retain in resale value, especially after factoring in time off the road and future reliability concerns.
| Scenario | Typical Repair Cost (R) | Value Retained (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Major Engine Failure | 15,000 - 45,000 | 40-60% |
| Write-off After Accident | 50,000+ | Less than 30% |
| Flood or Fire Damage | Variable, often not economical | 20-40% |
All sales include assistance with vehicle deregistration at relevant Gauteng licensing offices and guidance on finalising your ownership record. If your scrap car is still under finance, notify us-our team can advise on required settlement or clearance documentation before collection is arranged.
| Paperwork Needed | Who Handles It |
|---|---|
| Proof of ownership/registration | Seller (you) |
| Deregistration (scrapping certificate) | Facilitated by our staff |
| Finance/settlement letter (if required) | Your bank & our team |
After your scrap car is collected in Pretoria, you'll receive same-day payment and official confirmation of sale. The vehicle is then processed through certified channels-either parts recycling, legal salvage, or safe disposal in compliance with South African environmental guidelines.
