Selling a salvage car for parts? Get a transparent parts-based cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork assistance and fast payment across South Africa.
We Buy Salvage Vehicles
Any-condition, written-off or non-running cars accepted for parts.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect across South Africa at no cost and handle logistics.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We assist with deregistration and arrange quick payment after collection.
If your vehicle is written off, fire- or flood-damaged, or only worth salvaging, selling for spares and parts is often the simplest route. We assess vehicles for parts value, provide a clear offer, arrange free towing nationwide, and handle deregistration and paperwork.
Selling a salvage car for spares and parts removes the hassle of repairs, reduces storage and safety concerns, and puts cash back in your pocket without the delays of private sales. This option suits private owners, repair shops and small fleet managers across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions who want a practical outcome for end-of-life vehicles.
When we value a salvage vehicle for spares and parts we consider the condition and demand for key components, completeness of the vehicle, presence of paperwork, and local salvage market demand. Popular, serviceable parts and clean titles increase interest; heavy structural damage or missing major systems can reduce the number of re-usable components.
| Part / Component | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Engine & Transmission | High impact when intact and running; strong demand from repairers. |
| Airbags & Safety Systems | Lower value if deployed; intact modules increase interest for refurbishment. |
| Interior / Trim / Electronics | Good condition interiors and working electronics add useful value. |
If you want a quick start, use our online form to Get your free quote and upload photos. For vehicles that no longer run, see our dedicated guidance on Sell Non-Running Car to learn what details help the valuation.
If you want to understand our full service process and how paperwork is handled, read our About / How it works page for step-by-step detail tailored to South African sellers.
Our process is designed for speed and clarity. You submit vehicle details and images, we evaluate parts potential and provide a transparent offer, and - if you accept - we arrange free towing and complete the required admin. The same simple flow applies across Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and smaller towns.
We provide clear offers based on parts condition and market demand - not blanket promises. If you want more information about selling damaged cars in other scenarios, visit our Sell Damaged Cars page for examples of accepted damage types and common outcomes.
Pro tip: Clear, well-lit photos of the engine bay, interior, VIN/chassis plate and visible damage speed up valuations and help us identify high-demand parts.
Begin by uploading vehicle details and photos to receive a competitive cash offer for parts. For a deeper look at how the service works and what to expect after collection, see our About / How it works page.
If you have a salvage vehicle in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban or elsewhere in South Africa and want a straightforward sale for spares and parts, start by submitting your details so we can assess the parts value and arrange free collection.
