Johannesburg vehicle owners face unique challenges when they need to sell a car that won't start or drive. Private buyers often avoid non-running vehicles, and dealer trade-ins rarely accept them without pricey repairs. Our trusted process solves all that:
Cars become non-running for many reasons. We regularly buy:
| Non-Running Reason | Private Sale Likely? | Our Service |
|---|---|---|
| Major Engine Issue | Rare | Accepted |
| Accident Write-Off | Very Unlikely | Accepted |
| Gearbox/Transmission Failure | Low | Accepted |
| Severe Rust/Electrical | Rare | Accepted |
Johannesburg sellers appreciate not having to arrange expensive towing or negotiate with buyers who ultimately back out. Sell Your Damaged Car arranges quick collection, even from parking lots, homes, or business premises.
South African sellers are legally required to supply:
We assist all sellers in Johannesburg with correct paperwork submission and will advise on deregistration or salvage notifications, ensuring compliance with Gauteng traffic authorities. Payment is verified and processed securely via bank transfer.
| Vehicle Status | Special Notes |
|---|---|
| Still Under Finance | Settlement required with finance provider before ownership transfer |
| Insurance Total Loss | Provide insurer documentation and deregistration proof |
| Unlicensed Vehicle | We advise on licensing compliance or salvage marking |
Remember: Towing is always free and included. Let our Johannesburg team guide you through a smooth, safe, and stress-free sale experience.
