Our streamlined online valuation, free towing and paperwork handling mean you avoid towing costs, private-sale hassles and long delays.

Repairing a non-running vehicle can be costly and uncertain. Selling for cash avoids ongoing storage, repair bills and the risk of further deterioration. We offer a competitive cash offer based on the vehicle’s condition, market salvage demand and location, and we arrange free towing and fast payment across major metros and surrounding areas.
If you want a guide specifically for non-running cars, our Sell Non-Running Car page explains required photos and details to speed up your valuation.
Prefer to review service scope first? See our Sell Damaged Cars information for examples of damage types we handle.
On collection day our driver arrives at the agreed time, confirms the vehicle details and handles loading. We offer free towing across South Africa - from city centres in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban to surrounding regions. After the vehicle is collected, we complete the transfer paperwork and arrange payment into your bank account; payment timing is fast and verified.
We assist with the required paperwork, including transfer of ownership and deregistration where applicable. If the vehicle is under finance, inform your finance provider - sale proceeds may need to settle the outstanding balance before transfer. Our team can guide you through lender interactions and the transfer process to reduce administrative burden.
Ready to proceed? Upload vehicle details and photos to receive your offer, then Get your free quote. When you accept, Confirm collection and we’ll ensure you Get paid fast.
Salvage demand in South Africa varies by region and model. Dealers and recyclers often seek specific parts or vehicle shells, so location can affect offers. For sellers in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, quicker collection options usually help finalise the sale faster.
If you have a non-running vehicle and want a straightforward cash sale, start now by uploading your car details for an obligation-free offer at the homepage.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
