Sell your non-running storm-damaged car in South Africa. Upload details, get a free quote, and we arrange free towing, paperwork and fast payment nationwide.
Sell Storm-Damaged Non-Runner
Get a transparent offer for non-running, storm-damaged vehicles anywhere in South Africa.
Free Towing Nationwide
We arrange collection from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond at no cost to you.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle transfer and deregistration guidance and release fast payment after collection.
If your vehicle won’t start after storm damage - whether from fallen trees, hail, lightning, flooding or wind-blown debris - selling to a specialist buyer is often faster and less stressful than arranging repairs. Sell Your Damaged Car buys non-running and storm-damaged vehicles anywhere in South Africa, arranges free towing and handles the paperwork so owners in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions can move on quickly.
Repairing storm damage can be costly, slow and uncertain. Structural or flood damage often requires specialist work and parts, and insurance settlements can take time. Selling provides a straightforward alternative: a competitive cash offer based on condition and market salvage demand, followed by arranged collection and paperwork handling.
We provide free towing nationwide, handle paperwork including deregistration where applicable, and issue fast payment once the vehicle is collected and inspected. For a step-by-step view of our service and what to expect, see our About / How it works page. If your vehicle does not run, more detail is available on our Sell Non-Running Car page.
We purchase storm-damaged cars in any condition: non-runners, flood-affected, hail-dented, fire-affected after storms, or vehicles with structural impact. Offers are influenced by make, model year, mileage, extent of damage, and salvage market demand in South Africa.
A non-running vehicle with minor exterior storm damage can attract a higher salvage interest than one with severe floodwater intrusion. Our teams inspect submitted photos and details to provide a clear, obligation-free valuation tailored to South African salvage channels.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Minor exterior (dents, broken glass) | Lower impact if vehicle runs; easier to sell to repairers |
| Water intrusion / flood | Significant impact - electrical and mechanical concerns raise repair costs |
| Structural chassis or roof damage | Major impact - often classed for salvage or parts only |
| Non-running but cosmetically intact | Moderate impact - higher interest from mechanics and rebuilders |
We help with the administrative side: transfer forms, deregistration advice and documentation checks relevant to South African regulations. If your vehicle is under finance, inform your lender - we can work with you to settle outstanding balances during the sale. For more detail on selling storm-damaged or otherwise damaged vehicles, you may find the Sell Damaged Cars page useful.
Get your free quote now by clicking Get your free quote. You can also Upload vehicle details, then Confirm collection once you accept the offer and expect to Get paid fast after we collect and verify the vehicle.
