Sell your non-running hatchback for cash with free nationwide towing, paperwork handling and fast payment. Upload details and get a transparent offer today.
Quick Online Valuation
Upload photos and details for a fast, transparent cash offer.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect non-running hatchbacks anywhere in South Africa at no cost.
We Handle Paperwork
Deregistration and payment processing managed for you after collection.
If your hatchback won’t start, has severe mechanical faults, or is written off after an accident, selling it for cash is often faster and more cost-effective than repairing. We buy hatchbacks in any condition, offer free nationwide towing, manage the paperwork (including deregistration) and release fast payment once the vehicle is collected and verified.
Private sales or repair quotes can be time-consuming and costly. A specialist car buyer that accepts non-running vehicles simplifies the process and removes towing and admin headaches. Our process is designed for South African owners in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas who want a straightforward way to sell non-running hatchbacks for cash.
This option is ideal if you need to sell a non-running hatchback for cash rather than invest in potentially expensive repairs. It fits private owners, estate executors, and small business fleets needing quick turnover of non-operational vehicles.
Begin by uploading basic vehicle details and photos via our quick online form. For a direct start, use the homepage link to Get your free quote. If you specifically want guidance for non-running cars, our Sell Non-Running Car page explains common scenarios and required photos.
Offers reflect make, model, year, mileage, remaining parts value and the severity of mechanical or collision damage. Location can influence logistics costs, but we cover towing nationwide. Being honest and providing clear photos helps us give an accurate, transparent offer.
Once you accept the cash offer, we arrange free towing from your location and agree a collection time that suits you. Collections are available across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban suburbs. After collection, payment is released and verified promptly into your nominated account.
We assist with the necessary transfer paperwork and can help with deregistration where applicable. If the hatchback is still under finance, you should notify the lender - we can work with finance holders to settle or transfer obligations, but settlements depend on your finance agreement. For more detail on how we handle damaged vehicles and paperwork, see our Sell Damaged Cars and About / How it works pages.
Storage and ongoing faults can reduce a non-running hatchback’s value over time. In metro areas like Johannesburg and Cape Town there is typically stronger demand for salvage parts, which can improve offers. In more remote locations we still collect for free but offer calculations account for logistics.
Start by uploading photos and vehicle details to receive a no-obligation cash offer. To begin, Upload vehicle details and choose a collection slot once you accept.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
