Looking to sell your non-running car for scrap in Pretoria? Enjoy free towing, legal paperwork support, and immediate payment with Sell Your Damaged Car.
Selling a non-running car for scrap in Pretoria often feels overwhelming - from finding reliable buyers to handling towing and legal documents. Sell Your Damaged Car simplifies every step for Pretoria vehicle owners and small business fleets, making it easy to convert that non-running, accident-damaged, or written-off car to cash without the usual stress. We offer free towing across Tshwane and surrounding suburbs, and our transparent process means you'll know exactly what to expect from quote to payment.
Whether your car has sat idle in a Pretoria driveway for months or was just declared uneconomical to repair, we can help. Our team buys vehicles in any condition, saving you towing costs and unexpected admin headaches.
| Repair Estimate (R) | Potential Post-Repair Value (R) | Net Value Retained (R) | Recommended? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 000 | 13 000 | -2 000 | Sell for Scrap |
| 5 000 | 18 000 | 13 000 | Repair |
In Pretoria, repair costs for major issues can quickly exceed a vehicle's resale value. For these cases, selling your non-runner for scrap is typically the least risky and most immediate way to recover value.
The entire process is designed to be fast, transparent, and convenient, with regular status updates all the way.
Selling a non-running or scrap car in Pretoria requires adherence to South African legal requirements, especially around deregistration. At Sell Your Damaged Car, all admin - including notification of change of ownership and deregistration with the Pretoria licensing office - is managed for you. This protects you from future liability, e-toll charges, or fines linked to the old vehicle.
For vehicles still under finance, our team works with your bank to ensure a compliant, hassle-free transaction.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Scrap Offer |
|---|---|
| Engine Failure | Moderate to significant reduction |
| Accident/Structural Damage | Significant reduction; scrap value often applies |
| Flood or Fire Damage | High reduction; mainly for parts or recycling |
| Cosmetic/Minor Electrical | Lower reduction |
Each offer from our Pretoria team is tailored to your vehicle's actual scrap and parts demand, ensuring the process is transparent and fair.
Your non-running car is towed away at no cost. Our Pretoria team finalises legal documentation and instant payment is processed into your bank account. Vehicles are responsibly scrapped, recycled, or dismantled for usable parts in line with South African environmental regulations. You'll receive confirmation of deregistration, ensuring zero future liability.
