Sell a fire-damaged, non-running car in South Africa. Upload details, get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment.
Any-Condition Purchases
We buy fire-damaged and non-running cars across South Africa.
Free Towing Nationwide
We collect your vehicle from Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and beyond at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and release payment quickly after collection.
If your car is a non-runner after a fire, the cost and time to repair can be high. Sell Your Damaged Car buys fire-damaged and non-running vehicles across South Africa, offering free towing, paperwork support (including deregistration) and fast payment after collection. Our process is designed for private owners and small fleets in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and surrounding areas.
We purchase vehicles in any condition: fire-damaged, accident-written-off, flood-affected, fire-impacted, mechanically failed or completely non-starting. Whether the vehicle is still under finance, suffers wiring and interior burn damage, or won’t move, we provide an obligation-free assessment and a competitive cash offer based on market salvage demand and condition.
Start by Uploading vehicle details and photos via our quick form. We return a clear, obligation-free cash offer. If you accept, we schedule free nationwide collection, complete necessary paperwork and release payment promptly after collection. For specific guidance on selling a non-running vehicle, see our Sell Non-Running Car page.
If you want a deeper read on selling damaged vehicles and typical next steps, our Sell Damaged Cars page explains common scenarios and what to expect from the salvage market.
Complete the online form with make, model, year, mileage, a concise description of the fire damage and clear photos of the exterior, engine bay and interior. This helps us provide a faster and more accurate cash offer. You can Get your free quote on the homepage.
Offers are transparent and based on current salvage demand, condition and local market factors in South Africa. If you accept, we confirm collection details and complete any documentation needed to transfer ownership and deregister the vehicle where applicable.
We arrange free towing anywhere in South Africa - from central Johannesburg to outlying Western Cape towns - and handle paperwork, including deregistration assistance. After collection and verification, we release payment quickly. When you’re ready to proceed, you can Upload vehicle details and confirm collection.
We serve owners and small fleets across Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and surrounding regions. Our process is low risk: clear offers, free towing, handled admin and verified payment. If you need detail on how we operate, review our About / How it works page.
Example: An older hatch that suffered interior and wiring fire damage may be better sold as salvage than repaired, because replacement wiring and interior parts can cost more than realistic resale value. For fleet managers, selling a written-off van that won’t start can free up capital and avoid ongoing storage costs.
Ready to convert a fire-damaged non-runner into cash? Use our quick online form to Get your free quote, and we’ll handle towing, paperwork and payment so you can move on quickly.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
