Sell your non-runner car for scrap in SA. Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment - upload details now.
Any-Condition Non-Runner
We buy non-starting, written-off and scrap-bound cars across SA.
Free Nationwide Towing
We arrange collection in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We help with deregistration and release payment after collection.
If you need to sell a non-runner car for scrap in South Africa, getting a fair, competitive cash offer quickly and without logistical headaches matters. We buy non-running vehicles in any condition and arrange free nationwide towing, paperwork assistance and fast payment.
We purchase non-runner cars that owners want removed for scrap, salvage or recycling - from accident-written-off vehicles to engines-locked and long-term non-starters. Selling a non-runner for scrap avoids ongoing storage costs, towing fees and the risks of private sale negotiations. Our process is tailored for South African owners in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas, and for small fleet operators who need quick vehicle removal.
| Condition | How it affects a scrap offer |
|---|---|
| Complete non-runner (intact body) | Higher scrap value due to reusable components and higher salvage weight. |
| Severe structural damage | Offers focus on scrap metal value; parts less likely to be reused. |
| Missing major components (engine/gearbox) | Lower offers due to lost weight and fewer reusable parts. |
For a clear idea of the route that best suits your situation, read our Sell Non-Running Car page and our How it works overview for detailed steps and what to expect.
Specialist buyers understand South African salvage markets, logistics across metros and rural regions, and local paperwork requirements. Selling direct to a buyer that offers free towing, deregistration assistance and immediate payment reduces your time and risk compared with private ads or ad-hoc scrappers.
SA note: Towing or storage costs can range in South Africa - using a buyer who includes free collection often saves owners R500-R1,500 or more compared with arranging private towing. If your vehicle is under finance, inform the finance provider early; we will guide the paperwork steps needed.
