Sell your taxi for parts fast. Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and quick payment across South Africa.
Any-Condition Taxi Sales
We buy taxis for parts whether non-running, written-off, flood or fire-damaged.
Free Nationwide Collection
Pick-up across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond at no cost to you.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration, lender disclosure support and release payment quickly.
When a taxi has heavy accident damage, mechanical failure, or is written off, keeping it can be costly. Selling your taxi for parts is a practical option for owners and small taxi-fleet operators in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions who want to recover value quickly without repair work. Sell Your Damaged Car buys taxis in any condition, offers free towing nationwide and handles paperwork including deregistration and settlement queries.
We purchase taxis for parts regardless of whether they are accident-damaged, seized by mechanical failure, flooded, fire-damaged, or officially written off. Whether the vehicle is roadworthy or stranded, our process is designed to make selling for parts straightforward and low effort.
| Scenario | Typical outcome |
|---|---|
| Major structural or engine damage | Repair costs often exceed vehicle value - selling for parts recovers value without repair expense. |
| Mechanical failure, non-running | Parting-out or selling as-is is faster and avoids towing/repair delays. |
| Written-off / insurance settlement settled | Selling for parts can be the fastest route to liquidity for fleet operators. |
Note: If the taxi is under finance, you must disclose this. We can work with lenders or help guide settlement and deregistration steps to transfer ownership legally.
For more details on vehicles that do not run, see our Sell Non-Running Car page. If the taxi has crash or body damage, our Sell Damaged Cars resource explains how damage affects offers.
Our online process is built for speed and transparency. Upload vehicle details and photos, receive a competitive cash offer, accept if you choose, and we take care of collection and payment. If you want to start immediately, use our Upload vehicle details form to get an offer and arrange collection.
To understand our full operational steps, see How it works. If you are ready, click Get your free quote to begin and Confirm collection when convenient.
Deregistration and transfer of ownership are handled as part of the sale. If a taxi is financed, lenders typically require settlement or written authorisation to transfer the vehicle; disclose finance status when you request a quote. We assist with documentation required by eNaTIS and common lender processes so the sale completes cleanly.
Once we collect the taxi (free towing), vehicles destined for parts are evaluated and dismantled by qualified technicians. Paperwork including deregistration is processed and you receive fast payment. Our process aims for low administrative friction so you can reinvest proceeds or wind down fleet assets quickly.
We serve operators across Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal metros as well as outlying towns. For example, a fleet operator in Johannesburg with multiple non-running taxis can use our streamlined online workflow to clear vehicles without arranging separate towing or parts sales locally.
Ready to sell my taxi for parts? Use our quick online form to upload vehicle details and photos, receive a competitive cash offer, and let us arrange free towing and paperwork so you can get paid fast.
Need a tow? We got you
