We handle paperwork (including deregistration guidance) and release payment quickly after collection.
Non-starting cars often attract fewer private buyers and higher towing costs. Our service specialises in vehicles that won’t run, are accident-damaged, or have mechanical failure - we buy any condition and remove the logistics from your plate. For more on what we buy and how it works, read our About / How it works page.
Non-starting cars, written-off vehicles, flood or fire-damaged cars, mechanical failures, or vehicles with missing keys. For a focused route if your car simply won’t start, see our Sell Non-Running Car page for details and photo tips to speed up valuation.
| Issue | How it affects offers |
|---|---|
| Engine won’t turn over | Lower mobility increases towing/logistics costs; valuation reflects repair or salvage value. |
| Electrical faults | Offers consider diagnosis complexity; some buyers value parts over repair prospect. |
| Accident damage | Structural damage reduces market value; salvage demand influences offer. |
If you want to compare selling to repairing, our Sell Damaged Cars page explains typical trade-offs between repair cost and retained value. Choosing to sell when repair estimates exceed likely resale value often saves time and avoids ongoing storage or towing bills in Port Elizabeth.
Ready to start? Get your free quote or Upload vehicle details now - the form is quick and works from anywhere in Gqeberha and the Eastern Cape.
Once you accept an offer to sell your non-starting car for cash in Port Elizabeth, we arrange collection at a time you choose. Collection includes free towing from your home, workplace or storage facility. Paperwork is completed by our team and payment is released and verified promptly after collection.
We guide you through the required documents: ID, vehicle registration papers (or proof of ownership), and a signed sale agreement. If your vehicle is still under finance, tell us during the valuation - we explain settlement steps and work with you and the finance house to ensure clear transfer. For a full overview of our process and how we handle admin, see our About / How it works page.

| Towing | Free nationwide collection, including Port Elizabeth. |
| Paperwork | We handle sale documents and assist with deregistration guidance. |

Practical tip: take clear photos showing the engine bay, dashboard (odometer), and any visible damage before you upload - this helps us provide a faster, more accurate offer.
