Do you buy cars with structural or frame damage?

Yes. Sell Your Damanged Car purchases vehicles with structural or frame damage, but the cash offer depends on the extent of the damage, salvageability and vehicle data. We provide an online valuation, handle paperwork and arrange free towing and collection nationwide.

Will you buy flood- or water-damaged vehicles?

Yes. We buy water- or flood-damaged cars; offers are determined by the level of water ingress, corrosion risk and whether the vehicle is sellable for repair or parts. Our process includes an online offer, minimal paperwork, free towing and quick payment where accepted.

Can I sell a fire-damaged or smoke-damaged vehicle?

Yes. Vehicles with engine-bay fires, interior smoke damage or other fire-related issues can be assessed and purchased, with the offer reflecting repairability or salvage value. If you accept the offer we handle collection, paperwork and payment across South Africa.

Do you buy non-running vehicles and those with major mechanical failures (seized engines, transmission issues)?

Yes. We buy non-running and mechanically failed cars including seized engines and transmission faults; the offer is based on condition, parts value and market demand. The service uses a straightforward online valuation and includes free towing and assistance with deregistration and paperwork.

Will you buy vehicles that have been written off by an insurer or are marked as salvage?

Yes. Sell Your Damanged Car buys accident-written-off and salvage-title vehicles nationwide, with offers dependent on vehicle condition, ownership documentation and any police or insurer records. We explain required documents up front, provide a transparent cash offer and arrange collection and payment if you accept.

Quick overview

If your SUV has hail dents, broken glass, or bodywork damage from a storm, you can sell it quickly without repairs. Sell Your Damaged Car buys hail-damaged SUVs in any condition across South Africa, offers free towing, handles the paperwork including deregistration where needed, and releases fast payment after collection.

Who should consider selling a hail-damaged SUV

Selling makes sense when repair costs, downtime and insurance excesses outweigh the time and hassle of repairing. This applies to private owners and small fleets in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions who prefer a straightforward sale. We provide an online valuation so you can decide without committing to repairs or arranging transport.

What we accept

Hail-dented body panels, roof and bonnet damage
Cracked or shattered glass and sunroofs
Mechanical or electrical issues revealed after storm damage
SUVs of all makes, models and ages - running or non-running

Why use a specialist buyer

Specialist buyers understand salvage demand and can make a competitive cash offer for hail-damaged vehicles without the delays of private sale or insurance repair timelines. To learn more about our approach and national service, see our About page and the dedicated Sell Damaged Cars detail for what a typical offer covers.

South Africa-specific benefits

We collect across metros and outlying areas - from Cape Town and Durban to Johannesburg suburbs - at no cost to the seller, and we help with any required deregistration paperwork. That saves time and avoids towing costs that can add up after storm events.

Common seller situations

Insurance payout delays: owners choose a sale when they need quicker access to funds.
High repair estimates: when dent removal and panel replacement exceed the vehicle’s value.
Fleet managers: prefer consistent, low-administration disposals after hail events.

How the process works - quick, transparent steps

Upload vehicle details and photos: Provide make, model, year, mileage and clear images of hail damage on our homepage - the form takes only minutes. Visit Sell Your Damaged Car to start.
Receive a transparent cash offer: Offers reflect condition, salvage demand and local market factors; you can accept or decline with no obligation.
Schedule free towing and paperwork: Once you accept, we arrange collection anywhere in South Africa and handle admin, including deregistration where applicable.
Collection and payment: After collection we verify vehicle details and release fast payment into your nominated account.

Preparing your SUV for a faster offer

Take multiple photos: front, rear, both sides, roof and close-ups of dents and glass damage.
Note vehicle details: chassis/VIN, registration number and any outstanding finance (we explain finance handling).
Gather documents: ID, vehicle registration papers and proof of ownership to speed up payment and deregistration.

What happens after collection

After we collect your hail-damaged SUV, we complete the required paperwork and arrange payment. If the vehicle is under finance, we work with you and the finance house to settle or transfer as needed - this is explained during the offer stage. Sellers in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban frequently choose this route to avoid repair delays and logistic costs.
