Sell your hail-damaged bakkie for a competitive cash offer. Free nationwide towing, paperwork handled (including deregistration) and fast payment across SA.
Competitive Cash Offers
We provide fair, transparent offers for hail-damaged bakkies across SA.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle transfer/deregistration and release payment quickly after collection.
If your bakkie has been dented or damaged by hail, you don’t have to wait months for repairs or insurance delays. Sell Your Damaged Car buys hail-damaged bakkies in any condition across South Africa - Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions - providing a straightforward online valuation, competitive cash offer and free collection.
Service highlights: free towing nationwide, paperwork handled (including assistance with deregistration), quick payment after collection, and transparent offers based on condition and market demand.
Valuation considers make, model, year, mileage, extent of hail damage (panels, glass, roof integrity), mechanical condition, and salvage demand. We provide a competitive cash offer that reflects current salvage market conditions in South Africa and the cost and feasibility of repairs.
Start by uploading photos and details on our homepage: Get your free quote. For more on the types of damaged vehicles we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
Offers are transparent and based on vehicle details you provide. Typical factors that reduce offers include severe roof crush, broken structural components, and extensive glass or mechanical damage. Minor dents or cosmetic panel damage usually has a smaller impact on the cash offer.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Surface dents (panels) | Moderate reduction; repairable with paintless dent removal in some cases |
| Roof/structural damage | Significant reduction due to repair complexity and safety concerns |
| Broken glass / sunroof | Moderate to significant impact depending on extent and sealing requirements |
If you want an at-a-glance comparison of repair cost vs value retained, we can provide an estimate during valuation - this helps decide whether to repair or sell. Learn how the process works on our About / How it works page.
1. Upload vehicle details and clear photos (exterior dents, roof, windows) using our online form. 2. Receive a competitive cash offer based on the information and local salvage demand. 3. Accept the offer, we arrange free nationwide towing and handle the paperwork (including assistance with deregistration). 4. We collect the bakkie and release payment quickly after collection and paperwork verification.
If your bakkie is non-running after hail impact, see guidance on selling non-running vehicles here: Sell Non-Running Car. Fleet owners can sell multiple vehicles - we offer tailored handling for bulk collections and paperwork.
Offers vary by region and market demand; our valuations reflect current South African salvage conditions. We focus on transparent, competitive cash offers rather than speculative repairs.
When you’re ready, upload vehicle details to get your free quote. Accept the offer to confirm collection and receive fast payment after we collect and verify the paperwork.
Need a tow? We got you

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
