Free Nationwide Towing
We collect flood-damaged and non-running cars across South Africa.
Paperwork & Payment
We assist with deregistration and provide fast payment after collection.
If your vehicle has suffered flood damage and no longer runs, you’re not alone. Flood exposure can cause electrical failure, engine contamination and corrosion that often make private sale or repair costly and time-consuming. Sell Your Damaged Car buys flood-damaged, written-off and non-running vehicles across South Africa - including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban - offering a quick online valuation, transparent offers and free towing.
Quick fact: We handle collection, paperwork (including deregistration assistance) and fast payment after collection, reducing the logistics and admin burden for sellers.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Engine water ingestion | High impact - often requires major engine work or replacement |
| Electrical/Electronic faults (ECU, wiring) | Significant impact - repairs are specialised and costly |
| Interior and trim water damage | Moderate impact - affects resale but repairable |
If you want more detail on selling non-running vehicles, see our Sell Non-Running Car page for the online form and required photos. For broader damaged-vehicle guidance, our Sell Damaged Cars page explains accepted conditions and paperwork support.
Ready to begin? Upload vehicle details and photos to get a transparent, obligation-free quote.
Our process is designed for speed and clarity. After you submit make, model, year, a brief damage description and clear photos, we return a competitive cash offer based on condition and salvage demand. If you accept, we arrange free towing, complete necessary paperwork and pay you quickly after collection.
We help with the transfer and deregistration process where applicable. If the vehicle is under finance, inform your lender - many lenders require settlement or transfer approval before collection. Our team can guide you through lender coordination and provide documentation to complete the transaction.
If you prefer a deeper explanation of our company and process, visit our About / How it works page. When you’re ready, Get your free quote by uploading vehicle details and photos now.
After we collect the vehicle, we verify the condition against the information provided, complete administrative requirements and release payment. Payment timing is fast but depends on verification and any lender processes for financed vehicles. We prioritise clear communication throughout so you know when funds will be available.
Sell Your Damaged Car serves sellers across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and nationwide. For a quick start, Upload vehicle details to receive your offer, or review our guidance on selling flood-damaged non-running vehicles on the Sell Damaged Cars page.
