Sell your flood-damaged car for cash in South Africa. Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment.
Any-Condition Flood Damage
We buy flood-damaged cars whether non-running, written-off or salvageable.
Free Nationwide Towing
Collection across SA, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and arrange quick payment after collection.
If your vehicle has been affected by flood water, corrosion or water ingress, you can sell the car as-is rather than pay for costly repairs. We buy flood-damaged cars in any condition and provide a simple online valuation, free nationwide towing and help with all the paperwork. Selling your flood-damaged car for cash can remove storage costs, reduce ongoing deterioration and return usable funds quickly.
Nationwide service: We collect from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions with free towing and complete the paperwork for deregistration and transfer.
Offers for flood-damaged cars reflect the vehicle's pre-flood market value, the extent of water damage (engine, gearbox, ECU, interior), salvage demand for parts, and current scrap or auction values in South Africa. Because each car and flood case is different, our online valuation asks for clear photos and damage details to give a competitive cash offer tailored to your vehicle.
Learn more about how our process works and what to expect on our About / How it works page. For vehicles that no longer start because of water damage, our Sell Non-Running Car resource explains specific documentation and collection steps.
Our process is designed for speed and transparency. Upload your vehicle details and photos online, receive a competitive cash offer, accept if it suits you, and we'll arrange free collection and handle the transfer. You keep control - accept or decline an offer with no obligation.
For a quick start, you can Upload vehicle details now to get your competitive cash offer. If you prefer to review service specifics first, see our Sell Damaged Cars page for examples of accepted damage types.
If the vehicle is under finance, we can coordinate settlement instructions with the financier as part of the collection and transfer process to ensure a smooth handover. After collection our team completes the deregistration and transfer tasks required by South African authorities.
We provide a clear written offer, transparent valuation factors, free towing and documented payment. Many South African owners choose this route to avoid ongoing storage costs and uncertainty when repair is uneconomic. To accept an offer, visit the homepage and Get your free quote, then Confirm collection and Get paid fast.
Example scenarios we often see: a bakkie in Durban with saltwater exposure that has corroded electronics, a Johannesburg sedan with interior flooding but intact engine, or a Cape Town hatch with non-starting symptoms after a storm. In each case we assess salvageable parts, scrap value and regional demand to make a competitive cash offer. Figures used in valuations are estimates in R and depend on vehicle specifics and market conditions.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
