Sell your flood-damaged car with a seized engine. Get a clear cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork support and fast payment across South Africa.
Any Condition Accepted
We buy flood-damaged and engine-seized vehicles across South Africa.
Free Nationwide Towing
Collection from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and release payment quickly after collection.
If you need to sell a flood-damaged car with a seized engine in South Africa, time and the right buyer matter. We buy vehicles in any condition - written-off, flooded, fire-damaged or non-running - and offer free nationwide towing, assistance with deregistration and fast payment. Whether you’re in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban or surrounding areas, our online process is built for speed and clarity.
Quick note: If the engine has seized after flood exposure, tell us about signs such as a hydrolocked engine, coolant contamination, or electrical faults - accurate details and photos help us provide a fair, transparent cash offer.
When you want to sell a flood-damaged car with engine seizure, buyers consider the severity of water damage, electrical system condition, vehicle age, model demand for parts, and salvage market trends in South Africa. We evaluate these factors and explain how they influence your competitive cash offer.
| Damage Factor | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Engine seized / hydrolock | High repair cost - lowers offer; parts/salvage value considered |
| Electrical system corrosion | Can significantly reduce offer if control modules affected |
| Interior/wiring soaked | Adds to restoration expense; often reduces market value |
| Good body/chassis condition | Helps preserve some residual value for parts or repair |
If you want to understand your options, start by uploading vehicle details and photos with the Make, model, year and a clear description of the engine condition. For non-running vehicles see our Sell Non-Running Car page for specific guidance and required information. For flood-specific situations, our Sell Damaged Cars page explains accepted conditions and how offers are calculated.
Our online system is designed for sellers across South Africa. Follow simple steps: upload images and details, get an obligation-free cash offer, accept if it suits you, then we collect the car and finalise payment and paperwork. You can Get your free quote or Upload vehicle details to start.
Selling a salvage or flood-damaged vehicle often requires transfer of ownership and deregistration in line with local regulations. If the vehicle is under finance, inform the financier - settlements or authorisations may be needed. We support sellers through the admin; learn more about our approach on our How it works page.
Once you accept the offer and we collect the vehicle, we finalise paperwork (including deregistration where applicable) and release payment. Expect transparent confirmation of the sale and a receipt for your records. If you need to Confirm collection or check payment timing, our support team will assist.
Ready to sell a flood-damaged car with a seized engine? Get a transparent, obligation-free assessment and let us handle towing, paperwork and payment. Use our online form to Get your free quote and turn your damaged vehicle into fast cash.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
