Selling damaged or non-running fleet panel vans? We offer competitive cash offers, nationwide free collection, complete paperwork handling, and prompt business payments.
Managing commercial vehicles comes with its challenges - from accident damage and escalating maintenance costs to the need to refresh your business fleet. If you're a business, fleet manager, or SME owner with panel vans that are no longer roadworthy, have suffered collision damage, major mechanical failure, or are simply surplus to requirements, selling them for cash may be the most practical option. Sell Your Damaged Car specialises in buying fleet panel vans, no matter their condition, and streamlining the entire process for you - with free towing, full paperwork handling (including deregistration), and fast, secure payment throughout South Africa.
Keeping an aging or damaged fleet van may seem like a way to minimise loss, but repair costs and extended downtime add up fast. The South African salvage market for commercial vans is well established, meaning you can recover value with minimal hassle and re-invest those funds where your business needs them most.
| Repair Scenario | Average Cost (R) | Value Retained |
|---|---|---|
| Major body damage | R35,000 - R80,000+ | Often below resale post-repair |
| Engine/gearbox failure | R25,000 - R100,000 | Lower than undamaged value |
| Electrical/fire damage | R20,000 - R60,000 | Small uplift, often not viable |
With repairs typically exceeding the post-repair market value, direct sale for cash is often the more practical way to manage aging or damaged fleet vans. This eliminates ongoing costs like parking/storage, insurance, and licensing for vehicles you don't intend to use.
| Damage Type | Effect on Offer |
|---|---|
| Accident/written-off | Considerable reduction; parts salvageable |
| Mechanical failure (non-runner) | Moderate reduction, varies by model/value |
| Flood/fire damage | Significant impact, but market demand for spares remains |
| Age/high mileage | Typical depreciation, less severe with high-demand models |
Once your fleet panel vans are collected, you'll immediately receive verified proof of handover, and deregistration is processed within a few business days. Vehicles are typically assessed for salvage, dismantling, or parts resale depending on their condition and market demand. Funds can be allocated to fleet upgrades, operational needs, or cash flow requirements.
