A dead battery can make an otherwise serviceable vehicle effectively non-running. If you need to sell a car with a dead battery in Pretoria, Sell Your Damaged Car buys vehicles in any condition and simplifies the process: online valuation, a transparent offer, free collection and paperwork assistance. We work with private owners and small fleets across Pretoria and surrounding areas, and provide the same nationwide service to Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
Repairing a car that won’t start can be straightforward for a healthy battery, but when an electrical fault, repeated battery failure or additional underlying damage is present, costs, downtime and diagnostic uncertainty can add up. For owners who need cash, space cleared or a fast solution, selling a car with a dead battery can be the practical choice.
We buy vehicles with dead batteries, parasitic drains, immobiliser faults or other electrical issues - whether the car is still driveable after a jump start or completely non-running. We also buy vehicles with combined problems (accident damage plus a dead battery). To learn more about how we handle non-running vehicles, see our Sell Non-Running Car page.
If you decide to sell your car in Pretoria, our team arranges free towing from your address - suburbs across Tshwane including Centurion, Menlyn, Pretoria North and Hatfield. We handle the administration (including deregistration steps where required) and ensure payment is released promptly after collection. For more on our company and process, read about us here.
Quick note: If your vehicle is still under finance, tell us when you submit details. We can work with settlement figures so transfer and payment steps are handled clearly and securely.
Sell Your Damaged Car keeps the process straightforward so you can sell a dead-car-battery car in Pretoria without arranging towing or extra admin. Typical steps are:
Choosing to sell a car with a dead battery removes the hassle of diagnostics, towing costs and ongoing repairs. Owners in Pretoria often prioritise freeing up space, avoiding repair uncertainty, or swiftly extracting value from fleet vehicles that are repeatedly sidelined. If you want to compare selling vs repairing for a non-running car, review our guidance on damaged vehicles at Sell Damaged Cars.
Get your free quote by uploading photos and vehicle details. Use the online form to Upload vehicle details and choose a convenient collection time. Once you accept, we arrange free towing in Pretoria and fast payment after collection.
We operate nationwide and deal regularly with Pretoria vehicle owners, mechanics and small businesses. Our teams follow standard vehicle transfer and settlement procedures to protect buyers and sellers and reduce admin burden for you.
