Need to sell your damaged, accident, or non-running car in Durban? Get a fair offer, free towing, and fast payment across KZN from Sell Your Damaged Car.
Durban vehicle owners dealing with accident damage, non-runners, or written-off cars often face a tough decision: repair or sell now. Choosing to sell your damaged car early can help you avoid ongoing costs, free up space, and eliminate hassle-especially with a local, specialist service.
| Damage Type | Estimated Repair Cost (R) | Typical Value Retained (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Minor Accident | 10,000-30,000 | 70-85% |
| Major Collision | 50,000-120,000 | 40-60% |
| Engine Failure | 20,000-60,000 | 60-75% |
Note: These figures are estimates based on typical South African market conditions. Repairing may not always restore full value, making early sale a practical option in many cases.
We offer a hassle-free process whether you're in Umlazi, Westville, Durban North, or elsewhere in KwaZulu-Natal. Our streamlined steps:
This entire process is designed for speed, transparency and safety-no waiting for private buyers, no towing costs, and no unknowns.
Transferring ownership or scrapping a vehicle in Durban requires compliance with several South African legal steps:
| Damage Category | Offer Impact |
|---|---|
| Accident Damage | Depends on severity and repairability; repairable panels fetch more |
| Mechanical Failure | Lower for engine/gearbox issues, higher if rest is intact |
| Flood/Fire Damage | Often considered total loss, but spares value still applies |
| Non-Runner (other) | Depends on market demand for spares and vehicle age |
Every offer is customised based on transparent criteria-model, year, condition, and Durban market factors-so you can make an informed decision.
After your vehicle is collected from anywhere in Durban or greater KwaZulu-Natal, your payment is processed and verified via bank transfer, with official proof provided. We address all deregistration requirements so you have complete peace of mind.
Our nationwide network allows for competitive, fair offers in Durban, tailored for both private owners and small business fleets.
