Sell your car with turbo failure in KwaZulu-Natal. Get a competitive cash offer, free towing across KZN, paperwork handled and fast payment - start with a free quote.
We Buy Turbo-Failed Cars
Sell vehicles with turbo or engine faults, regardless of running condition.
Free Towing in KZN
We collect from Durban, Pietermaritzburg and surrounding towns at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle transfer/deregistration help and arrange quick payment after collection.
Turbo failure can make a vehicle unreliable or non-running and repair costs can quickly exceed value. If you own a car in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay or surrounding areas, Sell Your Damaged Car buys vehicles with turbo and engine-related faults regardless of condition. We offer a straightforward online valuation, free towing, and fast payment - removing the time and uncertainty from private sales or costly repairs.
We purchase cars across KwaZulu-Natal with turbo damage, seized turbos, boost pressure loss, or related engine faults. Eligible vehicles include non-running cars, accident-damaged cars, written-off and salvage-condition vehicles. For more on condition categories and the process, see our Sell Damaged Cars page and the Sell Non-Running Car page for specific guidance.
Provide basic vehicle details, photos of the engine bay and visible damage, and any known service history. Our team assesses condition, market demand for parts/salvage, and local towing costs to prepare a transparent, competitive cash offer. You can start the process on our homepage by choosing Get your free quote and Upload vehicle details.
| Repair cost (estimate) | Typical effect on offer |
|---|---|
| R8,000 - R25,000+ (turbo replacement, labour) | Significant reduction for older/high-mileage cars; salvage/parts value considered |
| R3,000 - R8,000 (minor repairs, sensors, hoses) | Moderate impact; offers may be closer to market value for newer cars |
Note: the cost ranges above are illustrative estimates for South Africa and vary by make, model and region. Offers depend on vehicle details and local salvage demand.
If you want the full step-by-step of our buying process, visit our About / How it works page for a clear breakdown of paperwork, towing and payment timing.
Example: a 2010 diesel with turbo failure and 180,000km may have high repair costs and limited resale value. Selling as-is can convert the vehicle to cash quickly, avoiding storage and repair uncertainty. Prepare clear photos and any service receipts - this helps secure a more accurate offer.
| Damage type | Typical impact on valuation |
|---|---|
| Seized turbo / internal engine damage | Lower offers; salvage/parts demand considered |
| External damage only | Higher offers than major engine faults |
