Have a car with engine problems or non-runner in East London? Get a fast, competitive cash offer. Free towing, admin handled, payment made quickly - all conditions accepted.
Dealing with costly engine repairs or a non-starting vehicle in East London? With Sell Your Damaged Car, you can skip repair stress and instantly convert your problem car into cash, no matter its condition.
Cars with engine problems - whether it's severe knocking, overheating, seized motors, or a complete non-starter - can be difficult (and expensive) to fix. Selling privately is tricky, with few buyers and low-ball offers. Instead, Sell Your Damaged Car specialises in buying vehicles with any engine issue for cash. Serving East London and surrounds, we provide:
Engine repairs in South Africa can easily run from R10,000 to R60,000 or more, often exceeding the retained value of older cars. For insurers, extensive engine failure may lead to a write-off. For private owners or business fleets in East London, selling to a professional car-buying service eliminates ongoing costs, storage hassles, and time-consuming admin.
| Repair Type | Estimated Cost (R) | Retained Value (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Engine Overhaul | 30,000 - 60,000 | 30-50% |
| Cylinder Head Gasket (Minor) | 10,000 - 18,000 | 40-55% |
| Full Engine Replacement | 40,000 - 100,000+ | 20-40% |
For many East London drivers, especially with older cars, selling for cash is more practical than pouring money into expensive engine repairs that do not guarantee reliability or safe use.
| Engine Problem | Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| No Start/Seized Engine | Lowers offer, but accepted in any condition |
| Minor Noise (Running) | Moderate reduction; diagnosis needed |
| Flood or Fire Damage | Significant reduction; accepted with clear details |
Sell Your Damaged Car is an established, nationwide service with deep experience serving East London and the entire Eastern Cape. We know the regional market for damaged and salvage vehicles, ensuring a process that's fair to private owners and business fleets alike.
