We Buy Engine-Damaged Cars
Competitive cash offers for cars with major engine problems in Bloemfontein.
Free Towing & Paperwork
We collect for free, assist with deregistration and handle admin.
Fast Payment Nationwide
Accept the offer, confirm collection and get paid quickly after pickup.
If your vehicle has suffered engine failure, seized components, or other major mechanical damage, selling to a specialist buyer is often faster and simpler than repairing or listing privately. Sell Your Damaged Car buys vehicles in any condition, handles deregistration and paperwork, arranges free towing across Bloemfontein and the Free State, and issues fast payment after collection.
Ready to start? Get your free quote or Upload vehicle details in under two minutes.
This service is geared toward private owners and small business fleets in Bloemfontein with cars that are non-running due to engine damage, vehicles that are accident-related write-offs with engine issues, or older cars where repair costs exceed practical value. If you want a fast sale, minimal paperwork required and a straightforward process, selling to a specialist buyer is a practical option.
Learn more about how the sale process works and what to expect on our About / How it works page, and see options for non-running vehicles on our Sell Non-Running Car page.
Our process is designed to be simple for Bloemfontein sellers: you submit vehicle details and photos, we return a competitive cash offer, and if you accept we arrange free collection and handle the admin before payment. Typical timelines: online quote within hours, collection arranged within 24-72 hours depending on location, and payment issued once paperwork and collection are complete.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Seized or blown engine | Significant reduction; offers reflect parts/resale and salvage demand. |
| Intermittent failure (starting/idle) | Moderate reduction; higher if other systems are intact. |
| Accessory/ancillary damage (oil pump, belts) | Smaller impact; easier to repair, so offers are more competitive. |
If the vehicle is still under finance, sale proceeds may need to settle the outstanding balance with your lender. We can work with you and the finance company to ensure a proper handover and settlement where possible. We also provide guidance on deregistration and transfer documents to help you comply with South African requirements.
For more specifics about selling damaged vehicles and what we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page. When you are ready, Get your free quote and we’ll arrange free towing in Bloemfontein and fast payment after collection.
Once collected, we complete the agreed paperwork (including assistance with deregistration where relevant) and issue payment to the seller’s nominated bank account. We recommend keeping copies of documents and confirming bank details before collection to ensure a smooth transfer.
