Sell your collision-damaged car in Johannesburg. Upload photos, get a competitive cash offer, free towing and paperwork handled - nationwide service.
Quick, Local Collections
Free towing and organised collection across Johannesburg and nationwide.
Paperwork Handled
We assist with deregistration, transfer admin and lender communication where needed.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Receive a competitive cash offer after you upload photos and details.
If your vehicle was recently in a collision in Johannesburg - whether it’s a non-runner, written-off, or has visible accident damage - selling can be faster and lower-risk than organising repairs. Sell Your Damaged Car buys vehicles in any condition, offers free towing across South Africa, and handles the paperwork so you don’t have to.
Repair timelines, parts availability and unexpected mechanical issues can quickly push costs beyond sensible limits. Selling after a collision removes storage and towing headaches, limits further depreciation, and converts a stressed asset into usable cash quickly. Our service is designed for Johannesburg residents and businesses who need a straightforward alternative to costly repairs or a long private-sale process.
We buy accident-damaged, flood-affected, fire-damaged, non-running and written-off vehicles from private owners and small fleet operators within Johannesburg and surrounding areas. We accept all makes and models and consider condition, salvage demand and market factors when preparing a competitive cash offer.
Local note: We operate across Gauteng and service all Johannesburg suburbs, from Sandton and Rosebank to Soweto and Midrand - collection is scheduled to suit your location.
Valuations are based on vehicle make, model, year, mileage, visible collision damage, and current salvage market demand. You provide photos and details through our online form and we return a transparent competitive cash offer. For more on the types of vehicles we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Moderate front/rear collision | Reduces offer depending on structural vs cosmetic damage |
| Severe structural damage / written-off | Offer reflects salvageable parts and scrap value |
| Non-running due to mechanical failure | Valuation considers recovery cost and part resale potential |
If your car doesn’t start after a collision, our Sell Non-Running Car guide explains what to include in photos and descriptions to speed up your valuation.
Our workflow minimises effort on your side: upload vehicle details and images, get a competitive cash offer, accept if it meets your needs, and schedule free collection. We complete the paperwork and release fast payment after vehicle collection and verification.
Selling a collision-damaged vehicle requires a valid ID, proof of ownership, and a signed transfer/deregistration form. If the vehicle is under finance, inform your lender-settlement or clearance is usually required before final transfer. We assist with liaising on these items to reduce complexity for Johannesburg sellers. For an overview of how we operate, see our About / How it works page.
After we collect your vehicle in Johannesburg, it is transported to our salvage or partner facility. We complete the deregistration and any required transfer documents; once verified, payment is released. Expect clear documentation of the transaction for your records.
Get your free quote and start the process by visiting our homepage and selecting Upload vehicle details. Accept an offer and we’ll confirm collection in Johannesburg - arrange collection and Get paid fast through our streamlined process: Get your free quote | Confirm collection | Get paid fast.
