Sell your burnt-out or fire-damaged non-running car. Free tow truck collection nationwide, paperwork handled and fast payment. Upload details for a free quote.
Free Tow Truck Collection
We arrange licensed tow trucks and collect burnt-out cars nationwide at no cost.
Paperwork & Deregistration Help
We manage transfer documents and assist with deregistration and finance settlements.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Upload photos, get an obligation-free cash offer and schedule collection quickly.
If your vehicle is burnt-out, fire-damaged or otherwise non-running, selling to a specialist buyer is often faster and lower-hassle than private sale or expensive repairs. Sell Your Damaged Car purchases vehicles in any condition, arranges tow truck collection, handles paperwork (including deregistration where applicable), and issues fast payment. This service covers Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas, and operates nationwide.
We accept burnt-out, fire-damaged, non-running and written-off cars of all makes and models. Whether the vehicle needs flatbed tow truck recovery or light winching, we evaluate each car case-by-case and provide a transparent, competitive cash offer.
Quick note: If the vehicle is under finance, tell us up front. We can work with financed vehicles but will need details so funds can be directed appropriately and title transfer handled correctly.
For more detail on damaged vehicles we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Full fire/burn (engine bay, interior) | Higher repair complexity; lower salvage value but acceptable for parts/metal recovery |
| Partial burn, non-running | Moderate impact; parts and chassis value retained |
| Non-running with minor fire damage | Lower impact; often better than repair if repair costs exceed vehicle value |
Need tailored advice on selling a burnt-out car? Read about our approach and procedures on the How it works page.
Once you accept a cash offer to sell-burnt-out-non-running-car-with-tow-truck, we organise a licensed tow truck to collect the vehicle at an agreed time. Collection is free nationwide - from inner-city Johannesburg to remote Western Cape locations. After collection we handle transfer documentation and deregistration assistance where required, and release payment soon after verification.
Offers factor in make, model, year, remaining salvageable parts, chassis condition and current salvage market demand in South Africa. Figures are assessed case-by-case; we provide transparent rationale with each offer so you can make an informed decision. For examples of non-running vehicle sales, see our Sell Non-Running Car page.
Ready to proceed? Get your free quote by clicking "Get your free quote", upload vehicle details using "Upload vehicle details", confirm collection with "Confirm collection", and receive your funds via "Get paid fast" options.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
