Fast Cash Offers
Get a transparent cash offer for fire-damaged vehicles after a quick online valuation.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect burnt cars anywhere in South Africa at no cost to the seller.
Paperwork & Payment
We handle transfer/deregistration help and release payment promptly after collection.
Sell Your Damaged Car buys fire-damaged and burnt vehicles in any condition - whether partially scorched or extensively affected. We provide a simple online valuation, transparent offers and free nationwide collection so you can turn a burnt car into cash without arranging towing or wrestling with paperwork.
Selling a burnt car is different from a typical private sale. Offers reflect salvage demand, parts value, and the vehicle's remaining condition. We evaluate make, model, year, mileage and photos to give an obligation-free cash offer quickly. Our service covers Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions - and we handle collection and admin so you don’t need to coordinate transport.
We accept burnt cars of all types - engine bay fires, interior fire damage, electrical fires and full-vehicle fire loss. Each vehicle is assessed on condition and salvage potential, and we provide a clear, transparent offer based on that assessment.
| Damage Type | Common Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Superficial interior scorch | Lower impact if mechanicals intact; parts resale helps value. |
| Engine bay fire | Significant reduction; considered for parts or scrap salvage. |
| Total fire loss | Typically valued for core components and metal; offers reflect salvage market demand. |
For more detail on vehicle categories and examples of vehicles we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page. Learn how our process works and what documents we handle on the About / How it works page.
After we collect your burnt car, we verify the vehicle details, complete the agreed paperwork and release payment. Payment is typically processed promptly after collection and verification to your nominated bank account.
Get started now: Get your free quote, upload vehicle details, confirm collection and get paid fast. Our service emphasises transparent offers, free towing and minimal paperwork so you can finalise the sale without extra logistics.
In many cases in South African metros, buyers of salvage vehicles are looking for reusable components or scrap value. Repair costs after fire damage are often high relative to remaining market value, which is why selling as salvage is a practical option. Figures for repair vary widely by vehicle and severity; always consider a cash offer that factors salvage demand and logistical savings (towing and admin).
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
