Sell your fire-damaged car in KwaZulu-Natal quickly. Free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment across Durban, Pietermaritzburg and KZN.
Fast Local Collection
Free towing from Durban, Pietermaritzburg and across KZN.
Any Condition Accepted
We buy fire-damaged, written-off and non-running vehicles.
Paperwork & Payment
We handle deregistration and arrange fast payment after collection.
If your vehicle has been fire-damaged and you need to sell a burnt car fast in KwaZulu-Natal, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a streamlined service across Durban, Pietermaritzburg, eThekwini and surrounding areas. We buy vehicles in any condition - written-off, fire-damaged or non-running - provide a transparent cash offer and arrange free towing and paperwork so you don’t have to manage logistics.
Submit photos and details online, receive a competitive cash offer, accept if it suits you, and we collect the vehicle at no cost. Payment is released promptly after collection and paperwork completion.
Fire damage often affects wiring, interiors and structural components. Specialist buyers understand salvage value, dismantling costs and local demand for parts - which means more accurate, faster offers than a general private sale. We operate throughout KwaZulu-Natal and handle the collection from most suburbs and rural addresses.
Ready to start? Get your free quote or learn more about what we buy on our Sell Damaged Cars page.
We operate statewide: Durban metro and suburbs, Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay, Newcastle and smaller towns. Towing schedules are arranged to suit your availability and location. If you need more detail on the process and what documents are handled, visit our About / How it works page for a clear overview.
When selling a burnt car in KZN it helps to know how finance, deregistration and payment are handled. If the vehicle is under finance, inform your lender - we can coordinate settlement figures so transfer and payment are straightforward. We assist with deregistration guidance and transfer documentation specific to South African requirements, and we release payment promptly after collection and verification.
Typical turnaround: submit details in minutes, receive a quote the same day, and arrange collection within 1-7 days depending on location and availability. Payment timing: funds are released and verified shortly after we collect and complete paperwork; times can vary by bank but our process aims for fast payment into your account.
| Damage Type | Typical Offer Impact |
|---|---|
| Surface interior burn (limited wiring) | Moderate reduction - usable parts retain value |
| Engine bay fire | Significant reduction - structural and mechanical loss |
| Severe body and chassis fire | High reduction - mostly salvage for parts or scrap |
If your burnt vehicle doesn’t run or needs specialist handling, see our guidance for non-running vehicles on the Sell Non-Running Car page. For a quick start, Upload vehicle details now to get a fast, obligation-free cash offer.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
