| Scenario | Typical Cost (R) | Resale Value After Repair (R) | Net Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| Major engine failure (Toyota Hilux, 2015) | 60,000+ | 70,000-80,000 | Low profit, risk of overspend |
| Rear accident damage (Ford Ranger, 2017) | 75,000 | 85,000 | Minimal return, delays |
| Non-running, written-off | 100,000+ (not viable) | 85,000-90,000 | Negative |
When repairs cost more than resale value or take weeks to complete, a guaranteed cash offer provides peace of mind and immediate funding.
Our Cape Town team covers all suburbs, industrial parks, and outlying areas-no need to arrange towing or sorting through government forms. We manage vehicle deregistration and ownership transfer so you're not left with penalties down the line. This service is fully included, whether you're an individual owner or a commercial fleet manager.
| Damage Type | Example Impact |
|---|---|
| Mechanical (engine, gearbox) | Moderate drop in offer vs. panel damage |
| Severe accident (chassis/frame) | Higher impact, especially for newer vehicles |
| Flood/fire | Usually lower, but still accepted |
| Minor dents/scratches | Minimal impact |
