Sell your accident-damaged, not-drivable car in South Africa. Get a transparent cash offer, free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment.
Any-Condition Acceptance
We buy non-drivable and accident-damaged cars across South Africa.
Free Towing Nationwide
We arrange collection from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and issue fast payment after collection.
If your vehicle was in an accident and is not drivable, selling it privately can be slow, costly and risky. Sell Your Damaged Car buys vehicles in any condition, arranges free towing across South Africa, handles paperwork (including deregistration steps) and issues fast payment once the vehicle is collected. This service is aimed at private owners and small business fleets in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions who want a straightforward way to convert a damaged vehicle into cash.
We accept accidente-damaged, written-off, flood- or fire-damaged, and mechanically-failed cars that are not roadworthy. Owners often choose to sell when repair costs, storage or downtime exceed the practical value of keeping the vehicle. Our online process keeps steps simple: upload details and photos, get a clear offer, accept and schedule free collection.
Key benefits: free nationwide towing, paperwork support including deregistration guidance, and fast payment after collection.
Start by choosing to Upload vehicle details and get your free quote.
Provide make, model, year, mileage, clear photos of the damage and VIN/chassis where available. If the car is financed, tell us - we can work with settlement requirements and advise on next steps. For a dedicated form for immobile vehicles, see our Sell Non-Running Car page for specific guidance.
Offers are based on current market demand for salvage parts and vehicles, the vehicle’s age and model, and the extent of accident damage. We provide a transparent cash offer reflecting condition and local salvage values in South Africa. If you accept, we’ll confirm collection and complete the admin on your behalf.
Ready to proceed? Click Get your free quote and upload photos - the online form is quick and works across metros and rural areas.
After you submit details and photos, here’s what happens next:
Our team reviews the information and provides an obligation-free cash offer, reflecting local salvage demand and condition. If you accept, we schedule collection at a time that suits you.
We arrange free towing nationwide. Our collectors bring the necessary documentation and assist with the transfer and deregistration process where applicable. Payment is released and verified promptly after collection, so you receive fast payment into your bank account once paperwork is completed. When you accept, confirm collection and we’ll handle the logistics - click Confirm collection.
Tell us if the vehicle has outstanding finance. We’ll explain the process to settle with the finance house and arrange payment flow accordingly. We also support transfers when full documentation is available and provide clear next steps if documentation is incomplete.
Example scenarios we routinely handle include accident-damaged hatchbacks in Johannesburg, sedan write-offs in Cape Town and broken-down fleet vehicles in Durban. Our nationwide reach ensures free towing across metros and surrounding areas. For more on vehicles with repair or salvage needs, see our Sell Damaged Cars page. To understand our full workflow, visit How it works.
When you’re ready to move, choose Get paid fast by submitting your details and photos. Our process is designed to reduce hassle and give vehicle owners clarity and speed.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
