Free Collection
We arrange free towing across Johannesburg and surrounding suburbs.
Paperwork & Fast Pay
We handle deregistration and payment so you get paid quickly.
If you need a scrap car quote in Johannesburg, whether the vehicle is accident-damaged, non-running, flood-affected or written-off, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a fast, transparent process. Submit basic details and photos, get a competitive cash offer, and choose a convenient collection time. We handle towing, paperwork and payment so you don’t have to worry about logistics.
Local scrap car quotes reflect Johannesburg salvage demand, tow access and transport costs. We provide free local collection across the metro, so you don’t pay towing fees or wrestle with lift or loading logistics.
Fast process: Upload details and photos, receive an offer, accept and schedule collection. Use the homepage link to Get your free quote or to Upload vehicle details.
Quotes are based on vehicle make, model, year, current condition, and the type of damage. Local salvage and recycling demand also influences value - certain metals and parts fetch higher prices in city markets. We give transparent reasons for each offer so you understand how it was calculated.
| Damage type | Typical offer impact |
|---|---|
| Severe structural/frame damage | Lower - affects repairability and resale of parts |
| Mechanical failure (non-running) | Medium - value from parts and scrap metal |
| Flood or fire damage | Lower to medium - depends on extent and recoverable parts |
| Minor cosmetic damage | Higher - more parts usable for resale |
To learn more about the types of vehicles we buy and the typical process, see our Sell Damaged Cars and Sell Non-Running Car pages for examples of accepted conditions.
We keep the process simple: you provide vehicle details and photos online, we return a clear cash offer, and - once you accept - we arrange free collection anywhere in Johannesburg. Paperwork and payment follow collection so you don’t need to visit an office or arrange transport.
We handle the paperwork required to transfer ownership and assist with deregistration tasks where applicable. If your vehicle is under finance, the finance agreement may require settlement or lender consent before transfer - we can liaise with the finance house to complete the necessary steps. For more detail on our process and company background, visit our About / How it works page.
Collections across the metro are scheduled to suit your availability - from central Sandton to peri-urban areas. Typical collection windows are 24-72 hours after offer acceptance, depending on location and vehicle accessibility. We prioritise safe loading and local compliance when moving written-off or non-running vehicles.
We buy vehicles from Johannesburg as well as Cape Town, Durban and nationwide - if you’re outside the city we still provide the same free towing and paperwork support. For a quick start, go to our Get your free quote page and upload your details.
