Area-Based Pricing
Offers vary by region due to parts demand and logistics.
Collection Included
Free towing and paperwork handling are included nationwide.
Quick Regional Quotes
Upload details and get an area-specific, obligation-free offer.
If you’re looking for scrap car prices with collection included by area, this page explains what affects offers across South Africa and how collection is handled in different regions. We buy cars in any condition - accident-damaged, non-running, written-off or salvage - and include free towing and paperwork handling in our nationwide service. Get a quick, transparent quote and arrange collection with minimal hassle.
Scrap car prices with collection included by area depend on several local factors: regional demand for parts, distance to the nearest dismantler or auction, local salvage market activity, and logistics costs. Urban centres like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban often have higher buyer activity and shorter collection times, while remote areas may see slightly lower offers due to transport time.
| Area | Collection included? | Typical collection time | Local factors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Johannesburg & Surrounds | Yes | 24-72 hours | High demand for parts; many dismantlers |
| Cape Town & Western Cape | Yes | 48-96 hours | Strong coastal market; longer routes from inland |
| Durban & KwaZulu-Natal | Yes | 24-72 hours | Busy port access; good salvage network |
| Rural / Remote Areas | Yes, usually | 2-7 days | Longer tow distances may affect offers |
Ready to compare scrap car prices with collection included by area? Get started now by getting your free quote on our homepage.
Learn more about our process and what to expect on our About / How it works page.
When comparing scrap car prices with collection included by area, evaluators consider condition, usable parts, vehicle age, make and model, and whether the car is under finance. Logistics are folded into the offer so you don’t pay towing separately. If a vehicle is still under finance, we explain the options and can work with lenders where possible; check details when you request an offer.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Front or rear accident damage | Moderate - core mechanical parts may retain value |
| Flood or water damage | Higher impact - electrical systems often affected |
| Fire damage | Significant reduction - few reusable components |
| Non-running / mechanical failure | Varies - engines or transmissions still in demand |
Note: We serve all major metros - Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban - and surrounding areas with free collection. For a tailored estimate, use the quick form to upload your vehicle and receive an area-specific quote.
If you have a non-running vehicle, see our dedicated guidance on selling non-running cars to understand valuation factors and the collection process: Sell Non-Running Car. For vehicles with accident damage, read our page about selling damaged cars for more detail: Sell Damaged Cars.
