Need same-day pickup for a non-running car in South Africa? Upload details, receive a cash offer, and we arrange free nationwide towing, paperwork and fast payment.
Same-Day Collection
Get a cash offer and same-day pickup in major South African centres.
We Handle Paperwork
Deregistration and transfer admin are included for a smooth sale.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect non-running cars across SA at no cost to you.
If your car won’t start, has been written off or suffers serious mechanical damage, same-day pickup offers let you convert the vehicle into cash without arranging towing, negotiating with buyers or handling complex paperwork. Sell Your Damaged Car provides same-day collection where feasible, free nationwide towing, and streamlined admin so you receive payment quickly after collection.
Non-running vehicles present logistics and cost problems: storage fees, continued depreciation, and the time spent trying to find a buyer who can tow the car. A same-day pickup option reduces those risks by matching a cash offer with immediate collection and paperwork support. This is especially valuable in major metros like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and surrounding regions where quick removal avoids holding charges and theft risk.
Owners of non-running cars, accident-written-off vehicles, flood- or fire-damaged cars, and mechanically failed fleet vehicles can all apply. To start, upload vehicle details and photos via our homepage: Sell Your Damaged Car or use the dedicated form on the Sell Non-Running Car page for faster processing.
| Service element | Typical same-day outcome |
|---|---|
| Quote turnaround | Immediate or within hours when photos and details are clear |
| Collection timing | Same day in major centres; next business day in some outlying areas |
| Payment release | Paid quickly after collection and paperwork verification |
Our process is designed for speed and clarity. Submit make, model, year, damage summary and photos through our online form; we return an obligation-free cash offer. If you accept, we arrange collection - often same day - and handle the transfer and deregistration admin. You receive verified payment shortly after collection.
Same-day pickup works best in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding suburbs where our collection partners are most active. In smaller towns we still provide rapid service and free towing; timing depends on route scheduling and access. For more about our operating approach, see our about page: How it works, and for details on selling a damaged vehicle consult Sell Damaged Cars.
Experience shows sellers who provide clear photos (multiple angles, close-ups of damage and VIN area) and accurate location details get the fastest same-day responses. Offers reflect the vehicle's condition, salvage demand and local collection feasibility. Payment figures vary; any currency references are in R and illustrative, not offers.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
