Sell your non-running or broken-down bakkie for same-day cash payment. Free nationwide towing, admin handled, and clear, obligation-free offers. Serving all of South Africa.
Whether you own a bakkie that's broken down, suffered accident damage, or isn't worth repairing, getting stuck with it can be stressful. Sell Your Damaged Car offers immediate cash payment, free collection and professional support across South Africa.
If your bakkie no longer runs or has major mechanical issues, repairing it is often costly and time-consuming. Many South African owners and businesses want a fast solution to turn their non-moving bakkie into cash without the hassle. At Sell Your Damaged Car, we specialise in purchasing non-running, accident-damaged and written-off bakkies quickly and transparently.
Our process is tailored for both private owners and business fleets, covering Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and all surrounding regions. We manage all admin-including deregistration and settlement for vehicles still under finance-and offer verified same-day payment after collection.
| Repair Needed | Estimated Cost (R) | Value Added (R) | Likely Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Major engine overhaul | 35,000-50,000 | 20,000-25,000 | High loss |
| Transmission replacement | 25,000-45,000 | 18,000-22,000 | High loss |
| Panel & body repair (accident) | 12,000-40,000 | Varies (lower if non-running) | Often low value return |
With modern bakkies, repair costs can exceed what you recover on resale. Many South African bakkie owners prefer a guaranteed, fast sale with same-day payment.
A non-running bakkie quickly loses further value due to storage risks and part deterioration. Selling promptly can maximise your cash return.
We assist with deregistration and ensure all legal responsibilities on the seller are closed off to avoid future admin headaches.
| Damage Type | Typical Offer Impact |
|---|---|
| Engine seized/major fault | Moderate to high reduction |
| Accident, chassis damage | Significant reduction, depends on salvageable parts |
| Flood/fire impact | High reduction, value in parts only |
Offers are based on usable parts, current salvage demand and the bakkie's age/model. The process stays fully transparent, and quotes are obligation-free.
Use specialist buyers like us who have a proven track record, transparent paperwork and verified payments. For more info, see our About Us and our resource on How to Avoid Being Scammed.
