Get a same-day cash offer for your flood-damaged car in South Africa. Free nationwide towing, paperwork handled and fast payment-upload vehicle details now.
Same-Day Offers
Receive a transparent cash offer often within the same business day.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect flood-damaged cars across SA at no cost to you.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We assist with deregistration and provide fast, secure payment after collection.
If your vehicle has been affected by flooding - from engine contamination to interior water damage - you can get a same-day cash offer from Sell Your Damaged Car. We buy flood-damaged and non-running cars in any condition, arrange free nationwide towing and handle the paperwork so you don’t need to worry about logistics.
Flood damage affects resale, repairability and insurance classification. For many owners in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban the fastest route to recovery is a straightforward cash sale that removes storage, repair and disposal risk. Our process focuses on speed, transparency and legally compliant transfers.
We purchase passenger cars, bakkies and small fleet vehicles with flood or water damage - from surface-level interior wetting to vehicles with water in the engine bay or electrical systems. Each valuation is condition-based so the final offer reflects the severity of damage and salvage market demand.
Start by uploading a few clear photos and vehicle details on our homepage or learn more about what we buy on our Sell Damaged Cars page. Both links lead to the quick valuation form that starts the same-day offer process.
After you submit photos and basic details we review the condition and local salvage demand. In many cases you’ll receive an obligation-free offer the same day. If you accept, we organise collection and paperwork - freeing you from towing costs and admin.
If you want more detail on our approach and how we value damaged vehicles, see our How it works page for a step-by-step explanation.
1. Upload vehicle details and photos via the online form. 2. Receive an obligation-free offer (often same-day). 3. Accept the offer and choose a collection time. 4. We collect your vehicle with free towing, complete necessary paperwork and issue fast payment - usually within 24-48 hours after collection, depending on bank processing times.
Example timeline: you submit photos at 09:00, receive an offer by 14:00, accept by 16:00 and schedule collection the next business day. Payment is released after collection and verification - banks may take up to 48 hours to clear funds. All figures and timing are illustrative and vary by case.
| Flood severity | Typical impact on offers |
|---|---|
| Light exposure (interior damp) | Lower impact; electrical and corrosion checks required |
| Engine or bay immersion | Significant effect; salvage valuation likely |
| Complete submersion | Major impact; reduced resale options, often destined for parts/salvage |
To begin, upload vehicle details and photos. For more context about selling flood-affected and non-running vehicles, visit our homepage and the dedicated Sell Damaged Cars page for details on inclusions and exclusions.
Note: We provide competitive cash offers based on condition and salvage market factors. We do not promise a fixed price without inspection. If your car is under finance, inform us early - we’ll explain next steps.
Ready to see how much your flood-damaged vehicle could fetch? Use the online form to get a same-day quote and arrange free towing across South Africa.
