Collection across South Africa including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and provide fast payment after collection.
If your vehicle is salvage, written-off, flood- or fire-damaged, or no longer roadworthy, dealing with private buyers or salvage yards can be slow and uncertain. Sell Your Damaged Car buys salvage vehicles across South Africa, offers a clear valuation, provides free towing and manages the paperwork so you receive fast payment with minimal hassle.
We purchase salvage cars in any condition: accident-damaged, non-running, fire or flood affected, and insurance write-offs. Our valuation considers make, model, age, extent of damage and salvage-market demand. For a quick start, upload vehicle details to get an obligation-free offer.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offers |
|---|---|
| Structural / frame damage | Larger reduction - repair costs and salvageability matter. |
| Mechanical failure (non-running) | Moderate reduction - depends on engine/transmission condition. |
| Flood or fire damage | Often significant reduction - corrosion and electrical risk assessed. |
| Minor accident damage | Smaller reduction - repairable panels and parts resale value considered. |
These are general patterns used by salvage car buyers across South Africa; every vehicle is assessed individually. To see how the process works in detail, read our About / How it works page.
Ready to sell? Click Get your free quote and upload photos and vehicle details - the form takes under 2 minutes.
If your vehicle is financed, inform your lender - we can coordinate settlement with the finance provider as part of the sale. For insurance write-offs or salvage certificates, provide any documentation you have; our team is experienced in working with insurers and salvage paperwork in South Africa. For sellers with non-running vehicles, see the dedicated guidance on our Sell Non-Running Car page.
For more detail about the kinds of damaged vehicles we buy and what information speeds valuation, visit our Sell Damaged Cars page. If you want an overview of the company and verification of our processes, check our About / How it works page.
